I need response on this.. I have an '08 mazda 3 1.6. Which I can trade in for an evo IV. My car has one third the mileage of the evo. But I love evos and stis. Keep in mind my pasion for cars and tell me, is it a good idea to make the deal?? It's a 1996 evo against a 2008 mazda 3. Also keep in mind that I DON'T WANT TO GET INTO A WEEKLY REPAIR SHIT! ...I want to enjoy my car... :)

I'm talking about stock car's here....a stalk EVO won't stand a chance against a stock GT-R I have had two 9 EVO one totaled in a accident and the other is in the garage under a car cover for the winter...I love driving my EVO but flip the script for a second put 25k into a EVO and 25k into a GT-R and see who come's out the winner...Point is for an extra 25k you get a better car...better performance...better styling ...better technology ...and over all better car

The ix isn't better than the x you retard. The 9's engine has been around for over 20 years though and therefore has many more mods and years of people testing and tunning it to its max. However the x incorporates cams on the exhaust and intake side that can BOTH be tuned to take advantage of higher HP! I got a x right now that I drive pushing 675AWHP on a DYNO. Kicks a Vettes aSS al day and twice on sunday! Including on a 1/4 mile.
