Ok, all you insecure men just go watch wrestling or something. Leave the real nitty gritty stuff of life to us women. This film needs to be seen several times for all the subtle messages in it, and it takes a woman to appreciate it too. This is a fun film with layers of lessons. It is a journey. Only those with the guts to take on such a journey need watch. People fear/dislike what they don't understand; hence the negative attitudes. So laugh ... and smile ... before the moment passes.

Maybe him more afraid of standing in his being-ness; happy, excited, and satisfied with who he is. If he truly stands there, it will not matter what kind of person stands around him. It has nothing to do with being afraid of "women who do their own thing" but rather him being afraid to do his own thing. If you got "woman power" from this movie, you missed the point.
