0227 #08 Hawk-Eagle Population Drops

Mountain Hawk-eagle, an endangered species and a bird of prey, has an average wing-span of 2 meters and typically weight about 3 kilograms. It is the heaviest among all birds and considered the fiercest. The eagles are Paiwan people's legendary ancestors, and their feathers also a symbol of nobility for both Rukai and Paiwan groups. According to a recent study, only about 500 mountain hawk-eagles can be found in Taiwan.

高松市消防団仏生山分団／2011 0227●林野火災防ぎょ訓練

＜2011-0227／高松市消防団仏生山分団＞香川県高松市国分寺町猪尻山で行われた「林野火災防ぎょ訓練」の模様です。太田分団→仏生山分団→高松市消防局へ。別系統で太田分団→三谷分団→多肥分団へのポンプ車連携訓練です。男木分団は林野火災に活躍する「ジェットシューター」を使用しました。要救助者確保！！！今回も香川県防災ヘリ「ＪＡ１１９Ｋ」が参加しています。＜BK117C-2 JA119K Olive-II＞のスペックです。仏独ユーロコプター社／川崎重工仏ターボメカ社製ターボシャフト/851馬力×2 最大巡航速度約240km/時航続距離 700km 先日のＮＺ震災のクライストチャーチ救援活動に高松市消防局レスキュー隊からも２名派遣されています。彼らの活躍と安全を祈っています。今回の林野火災防訓練はその任務を遂行でき無事終了しました。
