After the SF4 nationals took place in America (Fort Mason), each winner of their respective country fought for the world title. Even though Daigo didn't win his nationals he was invited as the fourth special guest in a battle between Korea, America and Japan. Justin Wong and Daigo were both undefeated out of the the four and this match determined the winner. A sort of rematch from an infamous evo moment, Daigo shows the world why he's not exactly dethroned as King yet.
