M102 105mm Howitzer
First introduced during the Vietnam War, the M102 was the light-towed 105 mm howitzer used by the United States Army in the Vietnam War and the First Gulf War. It fires a variety of conventional munitions and traverses rapidly through 360 degrees. M102s can be dropped by parachute or transported by utility helicopters for normal movement or air assault operations. The M102 is no longer in use by the United States Army, having been replaced by the M119. It is, however, still in use by the National Guard. It is also used on the USAF's Lockheed AC-130 gunship.

M119A1 105mm Lightweight Towed Howitzer The M119A1 is a light weight air mobile air droppable (by parachute) or Towed Howitzer with an average crew of seven soldiers. It provides direct and indirect fire support to highly mobile light infantry divisions and separate brigades. The howitzer can be quickly moved and employed to provide maximum fire power with a minimum of combat loaded weight. It also provides a low silhouette and requires no recoil pit. These aspects combined makes the M119A1 Howitzer one of the most lethal weapon systems in the Army inventory. The M119A1 has greater range, is lighter and has a more rapid rate of fire than its predecessor, the M102, which it replaces in light/ airmobile/airborne units. The M119 weights 4000 pounds ( complete with BII). The prime mover is the HMMV truck. The M119 is air transportable with its basic load of ammunition by the UH60 helicopter and is dual lift capable with the CH47 Chinook. The M119 fires all current 105-mm ammunition and new propellant is being developed to give the M119 an increased range to approximately 19K with the rocket assisted projectile. The M119A1 was originally designed, developed, and produced by Royal Ordnance, Nottingham, England as the L118/L119 British Light Gun. In the L118 configuration, the weapon uses separate loading 105mm Abbott type ammunition. The L118 served with distinction during the Falkland Islands conflict. Macro Lens basics & Review of Sigma 105mm Macro
Blunty3000 covers the basics of Macro Lenses and puts the "Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM" Macro lens through it's review paces on a Canon 60D to see how well it performs. EXTREME Macro!! (Canon 550D & Nikon 105mm Macro)

But what happens when you then go for the MOVIE CROPPED MODE where it uses only the central 640 x 480 pixels? you get an extra 7 times zoom. check this video. no in camera cropping or moving of the lens and this is how close you can get with this combo! When you add up all the cropping you get an equivalant focal length of 1176mm! eye ball photography here I come!

US T-28/T-95 super heavy Tank WW2
The T28 super heavy tank (also called 105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T95) was a prototype heavily armored self-propelled gun designed for the US Army during World War II. It was originally designed to be used to break through German defenses at the Siegfried Line, and was later considered as a possible participant in an invasion of the Japanese mainland. Although sometimes referred to as a super-heavy tank the T28 was re-designated as the 105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T95 in 1945 and then renamed a super heavy tank in 1946. Its main armament was a 105 mm T5E1 gun in a ball-shaped mantlet, set into the front of the hull. It also had a fifty-caliber machine gun above the commander's hatch. Although sometimes referred to as a Super-heavy tank the T28 was really a very heavy tank destroyer, and was re-designated as the 105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T95 in 1945. In 1946 it was renamed again, to T28. The original plan was for five prototype vehicles with a production total of 25. However only two were ordered and none saw combat. This is the sole survivor of a two vehicle super heavy tank program designed to deal with the Siegfried Line. Completed in December 1945, too late to see combat, it was not surprisingly impractical for battlefield use. With frontal armor of 12 inches, the vehicle weighed 95 tons and required four tracks. The tank featured a horizontal volute suspension and a 105 mm gun. Powered by the same V-8 used in the Pershing, the vehicle could only manage 8 mph. T28/T95 GMC <b>...</b>

I wanted to do a White Box unboxing of a Canon Lens. The price was a lot cheeper and I was under the impression that I would be getting a brand new lens with original warranty information. Watch the video to see what comes in these so called "white box". I got the lens brand new from Amazon for $990 CAD. From Canon it is approximately $1150 and if you walk into any camera store in Toronto they will sell it to you for approximately $1500 + 13% tax. Is it worth it you be the judge :)
