I shot this video on an iPhone, during the North American Press Introduction for the new 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. Location: At the exit of Road Atlanta's turn-five Rider: Bertrand Gahel from Le Guide de la Moto Scenario: Bertrand was consistently opening the throttle 100% WFO at the apex of five and then trusting the ZX-10R's MotoGP level traction and wheelie control programming to do the right thing and provide optimum-drive off the corner. At first; Bertrand didn't realize the bike was pulling a horn-mono there every lap, lap-after-lap... seems the new Kawasaki electronics are so seamless and effective he was able to just concentrate on going fast and carving clean lines. Bertrand is a great rider, but was shocked when I showed him this video evidence of the new Kawasaki electronics in action! NOTE: The sound, speed and angle of the wheelie were EXACTLY the same, lap-after-lap! That flatulent noise you hear is ZX-10R's stock traction/wheelie control system in action!
