By switching to the lower sideband (LSB), the signal from Argentina could be separated from SNRT Morocco just 750 Hz away on 15345 kHz, causing a terrible heterodyne in standard AM mode. RAE aus Buenos Aires auf Kurzwelle 15344,25 kHz, empfangen in Deutschland am 25. August 2010 um 19:58 UTC mit dem AOR AR7030 Plus an der magnetischen Aktivantenne Wellbrook ALA1530. Dieses Beispiel zeigt die gute Trennschärfe des AOR-Empfängers. Durch Umschalten auf das untere Seitenband (LSB) konnte das Signal aus Argentinien klar von der nur 750 Hz oberhalb auf 15345 kHz sendenden marokkanischen Station SNRT getrennt werden. Im normalen AM-Modus verursachen die sehr nah zusammen liegenden Signale dagegen einen schlimmen Störton.
