A telecine test to see if I could render some Super 8 footage at the same frame rate it was filmed at: 18 frames per second A real-time transfer was performed using a three-blade projector to video on 29.97. After de-interlacing, the footage was exported to single imaged TIFF files, then the duplicate frames were removed manually. The sequences were then imported into Sony Vegas' timeline using 18 fps as the framerate, and rendered to an MP4 using the same. Some footage I shot to test the workings of a new old stock Elmo 1012 s-xl super 8 camera. I shot Ektachrome 100D at 18fps using full auto exposure. Video shot with the new Sony A77, full HD, 60fps but slowed down to 18fps. If the glass looks blurry is because I shot at f/2.8 and the depth of field is very small, the drops are in focus.

The game was recorded with Fraps, so fps was about 14-20 during the game. It was hard to drive but I hope you will like this noob play :p All you can see is multiplayer. Unfortunately there wasn't enough space on HDD for recording the second lap. But because of Fraps I had lots of lags and on the second lap I've crashed. :]

Originally tests for a short film, this is a single roll of Kodak Ektachrome 125T VNF (7240) Super 8 reversal film(now discontinued), cross processed (x-proc) in colour negative chemicals (ECN-2). Filmed in London using a Nizo 156XL camera. Film ASA rating & Exposure = normal & Development = normal. Note the film grain increase, film base burn-out as well as the increase in vivid colour saturation chroma(with a bias towards mostly greens & yellows). All footage 18FPS (with some undercrank 9FPS) & Single light/pass Flash-scan Telecine 18FPS to DVCAM tape. **WARNING** Never look directly into the sun through any camera viewfinder as it will damage your eyes!!! (this camera was carefully modified for sun-viewing purposes).

This animation was calibrated in Quicktime at 18 fps.
