From Friday 2nd - Sunday 4th July, the East Lancs Railway held their summer diesel gala and the locos that were in operation on the Sunday that I visited were 45060, 37109, 20057, 56097, 55022, 50015, 50044 (D444), 50008, 33108, 33109, 47765 and D5054. What an enjoyable and claggy day, though it did really pour down on my return journey with 56097, I got some oportunities to get some footage. Enjoy!

This is the final part of the four part video of the Peterborough Model Railway Exhibition 2010 event that I attended on the 16th of October 2010 and this section of the video is in 16:9 ratio as the battery on my Digital Camera that I filmed the other three parts with failed. So I am using my JVC camera to film this part with. Summary: This part of the video shows off the "Dawton New Street" layout and a demonstration of the sound-fitted Bachmann Class 20 which has been renumbered to 20057 and weathered too! Dawton New Street Layout This is an N scale layout set in the 1980's with a strong flavour of BR Blue traction feature various types of locomotives like Class 31, Class 25, Class 37, Class 40, Class 45 and the Class 47 diesels working on passenger, freight and mixed rake trains like the BR Motorail car carrier train! Not forgetting the Class 52 "Western" locomotive as well. I will admit that these era based layouts are among my personal favourites as they contain some spectacular traction rather than the tasteless modern stuff. Class 20 DCC Sound Demonstration A full sound test is performed by the Bachmann Class 20 in BR Blue that is numbered as 20057 and has also been professionally weathered as well. For some time, I was dying to catch some high speed action around Bengaluru. Finally, I could not resist it and rode up to Rajanakunte alone on my bike. The result - a sight not to be forgotten - The Bangalore-Bhubhaneshwar Prashanti Express blasting past at around 100 kmph with KJM WDP-4 #20057. Watch as the WDP-4 kicks up dust, sends cups and trash flying all around.
