this is my first driven 240, also my first time driving a car with an RB20. im hopefully getting the car this weekend. then DRIFTO!! its running 12psi, hks bov ssqv, custom intake, jdm screamer pipe, and a full 3" exhaust. very very fun. the pull i do i get to a hundred, im not even at the top of third =). my friend was video taping.
** The duct-tape is there because the g-load can make that center piece loose. I do this as a precaution. ** ** I pick up the pace after a warm-up lap (2:22) to give myself room. I was running about 4-6 seconds faster than a few cars in the group that were closest to me in performance. ** My fastest recorded lap of the day was :58.228 which was okay. I hadn't been here in 5+ years. Fastest out of anyone running that day. :) This is my s13 equipped with an rb26 making about 310whp in this video because of the low-boost setting. High-boost, this car dynoed at 352whp. UPDATE NUMBER 2: This car now has an RB20 in it, making some seriously fine power! Gotta love what a lot of cash and a lot of time will buy you! UPDATE: ENGINE IS NOW SWAPPED! We got rid of that popcorn popper and placed a working motor in there. Now it's just time for Joe to learn how to drive properly and get the new one running right. My friend, Joe, "shows off" his famous Misfiring system, LMAO! Nah, he has a 240 with a pretty much SHOT engine! As a former 240sx owner, it hurts to watch, but I make funny comments to hide my "pain"! LOL! Seriously though, it's all in good fun! That engine will probably be replaced by something far more sinister!

I wanted to get a baseline dyno run in before installing my built motor. This is a completely stock SR20DET with a larger turbo, injectors and supporting mods. Stock cams, stock head gasket, everything inside is OEM. It also has a very poor tune, one other reason why it has low numbers. However, I did manage to run an 11.95 @ 114 MPH with this setup so far...
