On Thursday the 20th of May 2010, Samsung was the first to introduce a large-scale commercial 3D-Outdoor projection in the Netherlands, at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. Between 22.30 and 00.30 on the evenings of the 20th, 21st and 22nd of May, the public was able to view the addition of a new dimension to this historic building. On the adjacent square, visitors are able to try out the new Samsung 3D LED TVs, and are offered a chance to win one of their own every night. Foursquare and YouTube will be used as a part of the integrated campaign.

On Thursday March 10, Hot Wheels™ lit up Circular Quay, showcasing groundbreaking 3D projection technology at Customs House in Sydney, Australia. In a spine tingling show, the notorious Hot Wheels™ Skull Racers shattered the facade of Customs House as they competed in the ultimate speed racing battle. JL Design rose to the challenge of creating the content in 4 weeks from pre-production to effect testing to the delivery of a visually stunning 5-minute film. The client had a fixed idea of how the four core flavors of the Green Label were to be presented. Our team, despite the restrictions, produced the striking CG effects. Seven days before the launch of the MLS season, the Vancouver Whitecaps and The Media Merchants put on a 3D projection mapping event on the corner of Robson and Granville Streets in Vancouver. This one night execution signified the 7th day of the "30 Day 'til Kickoff Countdown" campaign. The entire Vancouver Whitecaps FC team was there in support, and street teams were giving out Whitecaps scarves. Accompanying the 15k projector and creative content, was sound and music flooding the streets in response to the images. The streets remained packed with pedestrians and projection mapping enthusiasts until the event came to a close. In the past, projection mapping worked only from a single, static view point, and thus was very limited. By attaching the PlayStation Move to the camera, we can track projections to screens in real time, enhancing the effect of spatial deformation and false perspective on the projections and allowing viewers to look round (virtual) corners, bend walls, create a hole in the wall, or remove the walls altogether to reveal vast expanses of virtual worlds.

In order to enforce the launching of the new Samsung 3D TV, NuFormer Projections designed and developed an impressive 3D projection on the façade of the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. The projection was implemented on May 20 and lasted till May22, 2010. Spectators were able to view the projection during these nights. Within one day quite a number of recordings were put on sites/portals such as Youtube and other news sites.
