www.maangchi.com I picked some wild green onions in Inwood Hill Park and made this pancake. You can use any type of green onions for this. Enjoy the recipe! Ingredients (for 1 rectangular pancake about 6×7 inches): Green onions, flour, water, soybean paste, sugar, and vegetable oil. Directions: 1. Clean, wash, and drain a handful of wild green onions (or about 10 stalks of normal green onion). 2. Cut them into 5 inch long pieces. 3. Make batter by mixing ½ cup flour, ½ cup water, 1 ts soybean paste, and ½ ts sugar in a bowl. Mix well until the batter is smooth. 4. Place a non-stick pan on the stove and heat it up. 5. Add about 3 tbs vegetable oil to the heated pan. 6. Put the green onion on the pan parallel to each other, in the shape of a rectangle. 7. Pour the batter over the green onion evenly. *tip: If you want some seafood (chopped squid, mussels or fresh oysters) in your pancake add it on top of the green onion before pouring the batter. 8. While the pancake is being cooked, keep patting it, pressing it slightly, and keeping it in a nice shape with your spatula. 9. A few minutes later, when the bottom of the pancake turns crispy and golden brown, turn it over. 10. Cook a few more minutes until the bottom of the pancake turns crispy and golden brown again, and flip it or turn it over. 11. Cook another minute and transfer it to a serving plate. 12. Remember that Nokia PureView tease from a few days ago? Well, suddenly it all makes sense. We are indeed looking at an imaging flagship phone and a true successor to the N8. It's called the 808 PureView and it's expected to reach Europe in the next quarter for a price of 450 Euros. Before we move on to its craziest feature -- the camera, of course! -- let's run down the other key specs: The OS is Symbian Belle; the engine is a 1.3GHz single-core chip; the display is 4-inches corner to corner but its resolution is a Nokia-style 360 x 640 (nHD). There's 512MB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage that is thankfully expandable via microSD. A Pentaband modem increases the chances of getting a signal while globe-trotting, while data speeds will top out at plain HSPA 14.4Mbps. Now that Carl Zeiss-lensed camera: it handles continuous-focus 1080p, but is claimed to have an incredible sensor resolution of over 41-megapixels when shooting stills -- or 34-megapixels for 16:9 images. It's achieved by some clever sub-pixel interpolation jiggery-pokery that entails five pixels being merged into one to produce a final image with a max resolution of 8-megapixels, but we'll dig deeper very soon. A look at the KA-BAR Model 5011 Fighting/Utility Knife. This version of the classic KA-BAR knife has a 7 inch straight edge blade made from 1095 Cro-Van steel. This is a modernised version so rather then the traditional leather handle material, Kraton G is used. Likewise the leather sheath has been replaced with a modern Glass Filled Nylon sheath which offers very good retention and is ambitdextrous. Both handle and sheath are Foliage Green in colour. Desert and Black are the other colours available in this line. You can also have a partially serrated edge on these blades. KA-BAR produces these knives in a multitute of versions. There are the full size model such as this with the 7" blade, the "Short KA-BAR" with a 5 1/4" blade, plain edge and parrially serrated blades, GFN sheaths, leather sheaths, leather handles, and a range of commemorative models. The KA-BAR is a true legend, I don't think any collection is complete without at least one of these great knives. "Stand Back" is a song by Stevie Nicks from her 1983 album The Wild Heart. It was released as a single on May 19, 1983, and went to number five on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number two on the US Top Rock Tracks chart. It was a major success, and still receives substantial airplay to this day. The song has been a staple in Nicks' live shows since its pre-album debut at the US Festival in May 1983, and it has also been included in Fleetwood Mac tour setlists since 1987. The main intro of the song features an Oberheim OB-Xa synthesizer. The synth-bass is played on a Roland Jupiter 8. On the Rock A little tour, the Oberheim is replaced with a Yamaha DX7. There were two mixes prepared for the song; the generally more well known Album Version (4:48) and the edited Single Version (4:18). Differences between the two are somewhat subtle, but the Single Mix tends to have more of a "collapsed" or "mono" sound to it and the electronic drum programs are mixed, rather dry and flattened, especially in the song's intro bars; whereas the drum tracks on the Album mix are accentuated by a generous amount of reverb effect and harder compression. This is a new configuration of the housing with the same plate arrangement.I have increased the wire size to #6 stranded copper.I used 5/16 brass bolts and brass nuts and washers at the electrical contact points inside at the stainless conductor strips and outside at the copper wire terminals.I put 1 1/4 inch diameter zinc plated steel washers between 5/16 split ring lock washers to act as cooling fins.I changed the stainless electrical conductor strips connecting the plates to the brass bolts from the 1/2 inch wide strips to a much thicker gauge and about an inch wide strip of stainless.After the run you see here the inside water temp was about 170 degrees F. I dissassembled and inspected the parts to find Heat damage to the home made hdpe washer on the negative terminal on the inside of the housing.This conductor strip is much shorter than the corresponding positive conductor and I believe the positive strip benefited by being cooled by the solution.I also noticed as the solution turned red from what I believe is iron coming from the plates production increased a lot as evident from the increase in flame size and temperature.The climbing temperature of the solution also probably increased the gas output also.

How to make the princess cake instructions (some may say this is similar to a Bratz or Barbie birthday cake) Assembling the princess birthday cake: 1. Bake three cakes in 8-inch round cake pans and one cake in a medium ovenproof glass bowl. Let cakes cool. 2. Cut off the dome off all of the 8-inch round cakes with a serrated knife. (Freezing the cake for about 45 minutes before you cut them will reduce the crumbs). 3. Cut a small hole in the middle of each layer; this is where the princes doll will go. 4. To keep your decorating surface clean while you frost, slide pieces of parchment paper underneath the bottom layer. 5. Using your offset spatula, place a dollop of frosting on one of the layers of cake, and spread it evenly. Place another layer on top, frost it, and place the last layer on top. Frost the top of the last 8-inch round cake and top with the cake baked in the overproof glass bowl (domed side up). 6. Make a crumb coat. This is a thin layer of frosting that seals in the crumbs and keeps the frosting clean and neat. Spread the frosting over the entire surface of the cake. "Street Customs 2" Ep. 12 - Stallone's '55 Ford Sylvester Stallone's upcoming movie, "The Expendables," pays homage to the big action flicks of the 1980s and `90s, and will even include our own California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, in a cameo role. The film is set to feature a 1955 Ford F100 truck, which had to be fully restored for silver screen worthiness. The customization experts at West Coast Customs would be the ones handling the restoration efforts. After calling upon WyoTech students Owen Lubenow, Rusty McClintock, and Matt Myers for assistance, the crew at WCC was able to churn out three fully restored 1955 Ford F100s: two for the movie itself and one for Stallone to keep. The ground-up restorations included metal fabrication work and the installation of a 347-cubic-inch Ford small block from ATK Engines, which reportedly put out 429 horsepower and 411 pound-feet of torque when fitted with an Edelbrock Total Power Package. "The Expendables," written and directed by Stallone, features a full billing of all-star action actors, including Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, and more. The movie will be released on April 23, 2010.
