HTC EVO View 4G Hands-On

HTC EVO View 4G Hands-On by Aaron We saw it at Mobile World Congress as the HTC Flyer, but HTC's new tablet is coming to the States as Sprint's HTC EVO View 4G. Featuring a 1.5 GHz processor, 7-inch display, Android 2.3 with HTC Sense 3.0 (or so they're calling it now), and two cameras, it's a decent tablet. Honeycomb would have been a nice touch, but HTC assured everyone that it would come in due time. Can it compete with the Galaxy Tab series and the Apple iPad 2? That's anyone's guess. Take a look and decide for yourself! ‪Facebook: www.facebook.com ‬ Twitter: www.twitter.com Forums: forums.phonedog.com Win Free Phones: sweeps.phonedog.com

It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but will be upgraded to Android 3.0 Honeycomb with Sense 3.0 UI on top.

HTC EVO View 4G Review| Booredatwork

booredatwork.com Twitter: twitter.com Facebook: www.facebook.com Empireavenue: www.empireavenue.com The HTC Evo View 4G is the first Android powered tablet from HTC, which runs Android 2.3 and not Honeycomb; but with an overlay of Sense 3.0. All under a 7' captive touch screen. The Evo View 4G comes with 32GB of storage on the device, a 5MP rear camera and a front facing camera for video chat. Touch sensitive button on either landscape and portrait viewing angles on the device But what makes the EVO view 4G special is the Scribe pen and the ability to use a stylus on a Captive touch screen. So is the scribe pen worth it? HTC Scribe Pen The pen feels like a large ball point pen, with two button , that act as an activator to write and an eraser. The Pen works effectively and you can chose a plethora of different pen styles , pencils, sizes, colors and fills. To use in either writing or sketching, for a stylus on a captive surface it is very responsive and easy to maneuver. You can write on the home screen, on pictures and on the note pad. To activate writing with scribe pen. Just hit the scribe pen button on the lower right-hand corner of the tablet and you are good to go. They are some draw backs to the pen. It is rather larger and there is no storage compartments on the View 4G to hold your scribe pen. At $50 dollars it is a steep price for a stylus. Conclusion The HTC EVO View 4G comes in as one of the better 7' tablets on the market, running Android 2.3 with sense 3.0 ...

Coby Kyros MID7022-4G Running Adobe Flash 10.3, Android Market, And Slingbox Player

I just bought the new Coby Kyros MID7022-4G 7" Android 2.3.3 tablet. Kyros MID7022-4G has a Cortex A8 1Ghz processor, 512MB RAM DDR3 RAM, and 4GB built-in memory expandable by an 32 additional GB using an SD card, and a 800 x 480 WVGA display. I installed Adobe Flash 10.3, Android Market, and Sling Player to upgrade the Kyros 7022-4G from a $179 tablet to a $500 tablet. Sorry that the video is slightly out of focus, it was 1:30 am and I didn't want to refilm it. I may film some more later and post it. I left the packing film over the screen to protect it until I can get a proper screen protector. In addition, the tablet is covered with a Samsung Galaxy Pad silicone case (the Kyros is a few millimeters longer) so the speaker was muffled in this video. I wanted to let people know that upgrading this tablet is quick and easy. I am impressed responsiveness of the multi-touch capacitive screen and the speed of the processor.

Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 vs iPad 2 (and other tablets)

The last in our video review series on the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with 4G is a comparison with other tablet hardware. We've got a Touchpad and both iPad models on-hand, but also note other Android tablets in this final discussion for this great tablet. Our final score for this Galaxy Tab? A 3.5 out of 5. Pros: - Bright, crisp screen - Fast 4G speeds - Lightweight and solid build Cons - Android market and ecosystem still feels like it's in the awkward teen years - Standby battery life isn't as great as we hoped - Fit and finish, while better than the rest of the tablet market, is still a little behind Apple Website: pocketnow.com Twitter twitter.com Facebook: www.facebook.com

HTC Jetstream Review

HTC Jetstream Review In a fiercely competitive tablet market, price is one of the biggest factors consumers consider. Case in point: Kindle Fire. Following the device's announcement back in September, Amazon's newest Kindle member, priced at $199, has seen record pre-order numbers pile up, and it still hasn't been released. Granted, it does have Amazon's ecosystem behind it, but the $199 consumer-friendly price is a huge draw. So how does a company offering an Android tablet, similar to other Android tablets, stand out? For the 4G LTE enabled HTC Jetstream, the price is its biggest headline, but for all the wrong reasons. At its cheapest, the HTC Jetstream is offered at $699 with a two year contract and $849 without -- no, that is not a typo. That alone is enough to turn away consumers, and it's unfortunate because the wonderful build quality, HTC Sense UI and Scribe technology make it a solid device, albeit one that many probably won't get to experience because of its premium price. It's worth noting, too, that we did notice a slight lag during daily operation, even though the device is packing a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. With an LTE enabled Galaxy Tab 10.1 available at a much friendlier price, the Jetstream is a hard device to recommend. In any case, check out the video for the full review. tchno.be For more tech goodness, check us out at: www.technobuffalo.com Follow Us on Twitter www.twitter.com Like Us on Facebook: www.facebook.com Check Us Out on Google + tchno.be

HTC EVO View 4G Review

PhoneArena reviews the HTC EVO View 4G. After months of speculation they finally announced the Flyer back in February, and while the 7" tablet would be running a new version of sense with HTC-worthy hardware it curiously was only running non-tablet optimized Android 2.3. To some extent they have countered with their own excellent Sense interface, and with the release of the EVO View 4G on Sprint they have added 4G data to the model, but will that be enough to compete against the Galaxy Tabs and Transformers of today?... HTC EVO View 4G Review

For the complete HTC EVO View 4G review, go to www.infosyncworld.com For photo samples, go to www.infosyncworld.com What happens when you take the Wi-Fi only HTC Flyer tablet and soup it up with 4G WiMAX and boost the internal storage to 32GB? You get the HTC EVO View 4G for Sprint, which will be known as the Flyer's slightly more capable big brother. It resides amongst the more portable tablets on the market with its 7-inch screen, but retains the same internal hardware specs as the Flyer with a 1.5GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. The tablet also runs on an Android 2.3 Gingerbread and HTC Sense 3.0 sandwich, and that's about as polished as you can get in the realm of Android these days. The EVO View 4G offers unlimited data activity while connected to Sprint's 4G network, so if you happen to live in 4G WiMAX territory, then you're going to want to take a gander at the HTC EVO View 4G. Otherwise, the Wi-Fi only Flyer might be the better bet.

Featuring a 1.5 GHz single-core processor, 7-inch display, 5-megapixel camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter, and Android 2.3 with HTC Sense 3.0, it distinguishes itself from the Flyer by including 3G/4G radios in addition to Wi-Fi.
