BACK IN 2007 LOL We were pleased to announce our latest accomplishment, As many of you know we have a 4.24LZ shop car that you have all been anxiously waiting to see what we do with it. Last night I decided to pull a 24 hour shift and begin tuning our beast. The engine had almost 1000 miles on it and I felt was ready for some dyno time (breaking in the engine properly is VERY important for any built high performance engine!) I started at 12psi and ended the tune SEVERAL hours and countless dyno pulls later at 20 PSI, all the way to dawn The last run for the night ( run #43, that's right 43 back to back dyno runs in one night/morning!) yielded our goal of 800rwhp, on 105 octane UNLEADED, on a very conservative tune. As stated before our number one priority is to have our engines LAST! Anyone can make power on a dyno, but not everyone can make it last in the real world. The car was very stable at these power levels and I feel we have more room left to push. As a matter of fact we will be driving the car today to Auto Crave 2007. I was very, very happy with todays deadlifting. i havent really been going all out on my deadlifts lately but i have been doing a lot to supplement them. i decided last minute that i was going to deadlift and just see where i was at. it will probably be about a month before i deadlift heavy again. Here are the sets and weights i did in this workout. The last 5 are on the video: 335 lbs x 3, 425 lbs x 3, 515 lbs x 3, 605 lbs x 3, 695 lbs x 1, 785 lbs x 1, 855 lbs x 1, 905 lbs x miss, 905 lbs x miss Even though i missed the first 905 i was very happy with it. i have been concerned with my speed off the floor lately and this felt great, i havent attempted that weight in months, and if i didnt mess up on my grip, i might have had it. i know it doesnt make sense, but if you look at my first 905, you will see my left hand starts opening up pretty fast. This frustrated me because i was wearing straps!!! thats not supposed to happen hahaha. My grip may have been worn down from the hang snatches before it but it was still unacceptable. oh well, def next time. also, i shouldnt have even attempted the second 905, at that point i was worn down, took too long between sets and cooled down and had lost concentration. im mad at myself because i risked injury over a set that didnt need to be attempted. you live and you learn.... oh yea... and i was trying not to hitch haha....

This was done today as part of an eight set workout and to a parallel box (although it doesnt look that way from the front view). sets went as follows: 225x5, 315x5, 405x5, 535x3 (put two 100 lbs plates on), 625x3, 715x3, 805x3, and 855x2 all lbs ofcourse. no suit as well. Rehband knee sleeves, Rehband shorts, Rehband belt and inzer belt is what was used... that should save most from having to speculate hahaha also 4 months and 19 days after surgery
