This is my BCS 730 powered by a Kohler 8 HP Magnum. I purchased this the winter of 2008 and had it shipped from Redmond WA to my place in Lodi, WI. It was bought to compliment my 850. I mounted the 6 by 12 inch tires only for this project. Most of the time, it runs around on a pair of 4 by 8 stock tires or the 5 by 10s off my 850. It has home-made extensions in order to get the 4 bolt trailer rims to mount. They won't line up without the extensions. I welded a 1 inch piece of solid round stock in the middle to hold standard free weights. The brackets can hold about 100 lbs of weight each side. This was an idea taken from Joel at EarthtoolsBCS.com. It has the Free-wheel devices to help in turning. They have their drawbacks, but I like them alot for use on this machine. I can lock them solid, make them free-wheel, or set them to ratchet either forward or back. Setting them to ratchet takes away reverse, and will allow the machine to get away from you when going down a slope. My 730 also runs a 26 inch tiller I bought out of Montana in the spring, a 28 inch snowblower I bought out of Chicago IL in the winter, a chipper I bought with it, and other attachments. The Plow was bought from Jim at Fields Farm in Bend, OR. He says it's a Mainline attachment. Mainline sold BCS machines under thier name until 1982. BCS then started importing their machines on their own and Mainline started selling SEP machines under the Mainline name. This plow is probably made by a local shop in Ohio <b>...</b>

Three runs up the strip & taxying back, and the 1-Quart Petrol Tank was ready for a refill... Here's another exciting episode of Goregoon's Garage. This time we are going to free up a seized 8hp Tecumseh engine in my 30+ year old beast of a Craftsman 8/26 snow blower. This will work in a lot of applications and may not work in yours BUT it is certainly worth a try. I have done this on a few different engines and has always worked for me. Liquid Wrench is a Rednecks best friend sometimes! Frees up sticky piston rings that make you lose compression too!!

this is what i did as a short project in my spare time. im going to put the engine back into a go-kart tho. the k&n filter adds about 1hp so its an 8 instead of a 7 and the pipe im going to buy adds 1.5hp so it will be a 9-10 hp by the time im done with it. and i might buy a bigger gas intake for the carb or put a 13hp card on the motor. thanks for watching! it has a 7hp kholer engine that i purchased for 300 bucks from tractor supply and the k&n filter was 25 bucks.

The original K161S 7hp engine that the OL' Girl was using decided to call it quits on me a couple of months back. That's why you haven't seen any new videos of the OL' Girl. But now she's back and ready for work. We installed an overhauled Kohler K181 8hp engine and we are in the process of breaking in the new engine. The new engine did very well for it's time out mowing. Everything held together very nicely. We believe she's ready for the Breaking Plow. Hopefully that will be our next video. But all in all, we're very pleased with the out come so far. But we'll see. Take care everyone.

The boat had been sitting out on the sea for some months, and rain water and salt water had covered 1/3 of the engine. I didn´t think it was going to start, but it did! Briggs engines are the best! This one is a 1977 8hp engine, originally from a Gilson snow blower, but i have used it in my boat for two seasons, and it just runs perfect!

Got this generator from a friend who found it in a scrap yard all beat up. But it looked like it had barley been ran. I got it from him cleaned it up painted it and cleaned out the carburetor and it fired right up. Some carburetor adjustments and it was putting out some straight pure AC and 120V and 240V. The sticker that included all of the generator information was gone when i received the generator and i can not seem to find any information on this generator so if anyone has ay info on this machine PLEASE let me know tlavite@gmail.com also i need to know where to find an air filter for this engine.

This video shows a log splitter that I designed and built a few years ago. I built it mostly from ideas in my head. I made a few scetches to help decide where to put the hinge point on the beam. I did all of the welding myself. It has a 5" cylinder with a 24" stroke. It developes 34 tons of splitting force. The I-beam is 8 X 8 X 5/8 thick steel, very heavy. I have split logs that were over 4 ft. in Dia. You get a lot of satisfaction from building something like this.

I have split Silver Maple logs that were over 4 ft in diameter with it in the vertical position. As you can see from the pressure guage, most of the time this splitter is hardly working. Most of the time, a few hundred PSI. does the job. Big knots may take it over 2000 PSI. Rarely does the pressure reach the 3000 PSI max.

Heres our 1989 Johnson outboard with a Sears 12 foot Gamefisher aluminum boat. Top speed full out. If you look in the top RH corner of the Garmin you will see top speed was recoded at 30.9KPH. :) I weigh 300lbs so your results may vary. I run full synthetic TCW3 Agip 2T City motorcycle oil from my Aprilia scooter. Also run full synthetic oil in the lower gearcase. The whole unit is in excellent condition and is mostly used for slow speed trolling. It runs perfect at idle speed for trolling and will run all day long without a hickup. Its very easy on fuel too when trolling.

This is a 2001 BCS 730 I repowered with a used Kohler Magnum engine. When I bought it, it had a locked up Kohler 8.5 HP Command Pro on it. I really like the Magnum for reliability and power. The chipper is a late 90's BIO-100. This thing is really impressive when it comes to chipping branches. I chipped up over 100 buckthorn trees earlier this summer. It took branches up to 4 inches if you fed it slowly. This is my first attempt to run it doing clean-up in the garden, and I see I need to reconfigure the rods. I'm gonna try an every-three configuration tomorrow to prevent plugging.

This is an 8hp Briggs & stratton engine, that is bolted on to a Gilson snow blower from 1976. What i did to the engine was: Made a intake tube for it, to fit the bigger carb from a 2stroke boat engine and made a custom exhaust for it, using parts from a china made diesel generator.
