Thomas Newman (1955- ) is a member of an American film-scoring family, his father being the composer Alfred Newman (1900-70), who tied with John Williams as the second most Oscar-nominated person in history (behind Walt Disney). His most recent score is to the 2009 movie 'Brothers'. 'Any Other Name' comes from Newman's Grammy-winning soundtrack to Sam Mendes' 1999 movie, which starred Kevin Spacey, Annette Bening and Thora Birch. The soundtrack as a whole made was minimalist in concept, and made particular use of world and electronic instruments. This published piano solo version of ' Any Other Name ' seems to be a condensed version of the full number, which lasts for about 4 minutes and uses electronic(?) pads to accompany the piano chords. This version captures the atmosphere of the longer piece very well. I have played it as written, except that I have deliberately cut the first static chord from 12 beats to 4. Teena Marie - Robbery
This is from the album, Robbery, released in 1983. Teena Marie (1956-2010) is remembered as one of the first successful white R&B artists out there. She sings R&B music with strong, soulful and robust vocals and plays rhythm guitar, keyboards and congas, as well as songwriting and producing. She started out her career working at Motown Records, when she met her mentor the last Rick James. Teena Marie and James released a duet, 'I'm A Sucker For Your Love' and 'Behind The Groove' in 1979. The first two songs were played on a lot of radio stations with a lot of listerners who thought that Marie was Black. It was the release of Teena Marie's all time hit'Square Biz', from her album, It Must Be Magic, released in 1981, that launched her career into stardom. Marie's hit singlss from the 1980s include : "I Need Your Lovin', 'Lovergirl', 'Portuguese Love', 'Ooh La La La', and 'Work It'. Marie's only hit in the 1990s was 'If I Were a Bell'. Its was after the released of the album, Ivory in 1990, that Marie took a hiatus from the music scene to raise a family. She returned with the realse of the album, La Dona, in 2004. This album has the songs, 'Still In Love, and 'A Rose by Any Other Name'(a duet with the late Gerald Levert). She recently released her new album Congo Line, in 2009. Teena Marie's Marie's classic R&B, soul and funk records were either sampled by hip-hop artists or covered by R&B divas. (re-mastered, I added in the lyrics for the song since it's easier to understand that way) Usually when I make music videos, I intend for the audience to have not seen the anime before, that way they can look at it form a more neutral standpoint that is not influenced by actual chracter relationships or what was actually happening in the scene. That is how thought of this video when I made it, I was listening to the song when I thought that a lot of scenes from Princess Tutu would fit the lyrics really well. I also integrated some carefully placed lip-syncing. It took me about 15 hours and I am really delighted at how this turned out, I am quite a perfectionist XD Enjoy!

Bioshock Walkthrough HARD - Revenge on Fontaine
Got Bioshock working again and got it running at 1440x900 almost perfectly. :D It just jolts a bit more now, but hacking works perfectly and the movies play fine too. I don't know if I'll be making anymore videos, but stay tuned and I might.
