On today's segment of SBB and SBS, they showed the awesome foursome, and some others from Bidaai at the launch party of Rajan Shahi's new show, "Maat Pitaah Ke Charno Mein Swarg". They were all there to share Rajan Shahi's happiness for his new show... They also spoke about Ragini and Sadhna's new style. Sara started wearing a nose ring like Parul, and Parul got a new hairstyle with front bangs (in India they call that Sadhna cut, because some old actress named Sadhna made that style popular). When all was said and done, the experience was simple, a bit too shallow for anyone looking for a true baseball experience, but enough of a tribute to the world of Mario and the Camelot-inspired "anyone can play" design that brought about games like Mario Golf and Mario Tennis. Fast forward to E3 2007, and Nintendo design overlord Shigeru Miyamoto commented in an interview with us that he wasn't particularly interested in simply shoving Mario (and his friends) into every possible game out there, specifically citing sports titles from GCN as an example of what not to do this generation. Apparently the business side of Nintendo overruled that one though, as it's now nearly three years after Mario Superstar Baseball's debut on GCN (just three days shy, actually), and we're getting a first-party Wii-make that does very little to innovate, but will still have that same simple charm the original was known for. When it comes down to it, Mario Super Sluggers is really a perfect game to bring back for Wii, given the system's new casual audience. Everyone (in America, at least) satisfied their initial Wii craving with the Wii Sports package, and baseball was one of the five sports included. Want a little more though?
