(Review from progarchives.com) A progressive act without a guitar player? That's exactly what this early 70's British foursome is. Originally, they became known mainly because Paul Kossoff and Simon Kirke played in the band before leaving to form legendary band Free. After their departure, Aardvark were mostly a studio act and recorded their only album in 1970. As is to be expected, Aardvark's material is highly keyboard oriented, the brunt of the music being carried by the fuzzed-up Hammond organ which more or less simulates the job of a distorted guitar. The soaring vocals by Skillin are pleasant and the music is quite melodic. The album contains some ear-friendly piano/keyboard interplay as well as some good R&B guitar riffs and harmonic choruses.

Ant recalls the time he met Mitey Mite, a strong termite who protected him from Aardvark and loves music. Initially, he wasn't very talented, but Ant found he can play the piano well. And when Aardvark makes a second attack, the termite was able to defeat him again, and in the process found he could he his personal instrument as well. Eventually, Mitey Mite is able to go on a concert tour with Aardvark going along with him.
The F-111 is a supersonic, all weather multi purpose fighter-bomber that achieved one of the safest operational records of any aircraft in US Air Force History. The F-111 was the first production aircraft with variable swing-wings, able to change geometry to enchance its efficiency,and also boasted the first crew escape module as well as the first terrain-following radar. The F-111 was unofficially known as the Aardvark because of it's long nose. The Aardvark name finally became official at a ceremony in 1996 retiring the last four F-111's in US Air Force service. Although no longer in US Air Force inventory, The Australians plan to fly their Aardvarks well into the 21st century.
