This video is actually taken from a larger video I call "Accord Smackdown", in it I replace the timing belt, radiator, a major service, and some other stuff that I don't remember. Yes, some sights are not adjustable, but the principle is the same, whether you need to replace the rear sight with a taller one or if you need to replace the front sight, or file it down. :-) Somehow, you want to get the bullets hitting where the sights are aligned, or get the sights aligned with where the bullets are going. :-)

How to adjust the spring tension on a Tremolo
I'm only doing this video as a courtesy filling a request from some other people (I can't stand being on camera). This is how I've been doing floating tremolos for years and it has worked about 90% of the time for me. This method is not like the other ones posted here on youtube...look at how they block the tremolo and how I do it and you will see the advantage of doing it this way pretty quickly. Non-locking tremolos are a lot more complicated because the nut comes into play...with a locking floyd style tremolo its pretty easy if you know how to start off with a good reference point. This method will work on strats and similar guitars with vintage/non-locking nut tremolos. You just need to concentrate on getting the nut finished and watch how you wrap your strings on the tuners. I've heard all kinds of silly stuff over the years: -Buy an original Floyd Rose if you want it to work -Install one string at a time or its screwed up -You can't pull up on it -Take it to a professional and have it done -A lot of other stuff that I can't put here because children may read it I haven't had any of those problems using this method. There are a few other videos on here that start out with a great theory, block the trem and then when it comes to adjusting the spring tension it becomes "you have to go back and forth and mess with it". I'm lazy and don't have time for that; this is the laziest, easiest way to do it IMHO. Now I had to edit this for length so there are a few jumps <b>...</b>

Adjusting to the ball (Larry Fitzgerald)
CREATE SEPARATION If you want to have the freedom to adjust to any pass thrown, it helps to create separation between you and your defender. So explode off the line and sell the deep route. This way when you come out of your break, you'll hopefully have more space to work in when the pass comes in. EYES FOCUSED ON BALL As soon as the ball leaves the quarterback's hand, you have to stay zeroed in on the flight of that pass. Don't take your eyes off it, and don't worry about the defenders who may be around you. On most receptions you're going to take a hit anyway, so your priority has to be catching the ball first. WATCH POINT, CATCH FAT The point of the ball is a good spot to zero in on because it'll keep your eyes centered on pass while it's in flight. Then when the pass arrives, you want to catch the fat of the ball -- the thicker area toward the center that your hands can most tightly grasp. Remember, soft hands on the catch, then a tight grip to secure it. USE HANDS, NOT BODY It's crucial that you don't use your body to catch the pass, especially in traffic. If you let the ball get in to your chest, it could easily ricochet off your shoulder pads and into the hands of a defender. So when the ball comes in, keep your hands away from your body and make the grab with your hands. Then take it for six.
