Canadian authorities are investigating an "unbelievable" incident in which a passenger boarded an Air Canada flight disguised as an elderly man, according to a confidential alert obtained by CNN. The incident occurred on October 29 on Air Canada flight AC018 to Vancouver originating in Hong Kong. An intelligence alert from the Canada Border Services Agency describes the incident as an "unbelievable case of concealment." "Information was received from Air Canada Corporate Security regarding a possible imposter on a flight originating from Hong Kong," the alert says. "The passenger in question was observed at the beginning of the flight to be an elderly Caucasian male who appeared to have young looking hands. For the very first time in Europe three unmanned systems operating at different altitudes flown: the Alenia Aeronautica's Sky-Y, the SELEX Galileo's Falco (both Alenia Aeronautica and SELEX Galileo are Finmeccanica Group companies) and the C-Fly UAS by the Nimbus Company operated jointly and at the same time in the same air space, in a flight area that is not a military firing range, taking off from, and landing at, a civil airport and in an area located over land and not over the sea. This video represents the trials of the demonstration of Italy's SMAT F1 project (advanced land monitoring system, phase 1) with aircraft flying over Levaldigi (Cuneo-Italy), Benevagienna (Cuneo-Italy) and Turin (Italy). The SMAT F1 project simulates a joint land-monitoring mission for civil purposes. The main aim of the SMAT F1 project is to study and test a monitoring system for the prevention, emergency and territorial protection phases in a wide range of events such as floods, fires, landslides, traffic, town planning, pollution and farming. The monitoring system is to operate in an integrated manner with the authorities responsible for managing these events, providing them with timely information and real-time updates through a monitoring and coordination station.
