And boy howdy is it grate. You will enjoy this game as much as I do once we get into the meat of it. The horrible voice acting is hilarious and the gameplay is solid and enjoyable. The closest you'll probably ever get to controlling a robot. This is a preview of what is to come, stay tuned, I may redo this episode though, who knows.

This is a series of gameplay vids I'm doing highlighting overlooked games for the PS2. RAD is an interesting very Japanese style game where you control a giant robot with intent of protecting your city from attack from other giant robots know as the Volgara. The game is really fun to play, and has it's own very unique control scheme. The story however, isn't anything worth talking about, and the voice acting is strictly "B" material. Also, at times it's hard to get a good angle on the action, because you're playing from your human character's perspective, and the controls, while unique, may be too difficult for some people. RAD is only available on the PS2.

One of the greatest things about the PS2 was that it had underdogs like this. Robot Alchemic Drive was one of my favorite games for the PS2 and it deserved MUCH more attention than it got. Sandlot is the developer, who also made the "next gen" Earth's Defense Forces for xbox 360. You control a robot by by using the analog sticks to swing the right and left arm, and the shoulder buttons to control the legs. So much fun

well, the Gust's games have made a great place in the heart of many gamers (myself included) because of his simplicity in the graphics yet difficult and great gameplay, Atelier iris is the first of the Gust games that i bought, i still got to finished the game (among others XD) because it's very awesome. If you are a fan of classic RPG's i recommend this game or any of the Gust's games (Atelier iris 1-2-3, Ar Tonelico 1-2 or Mana Khemia)

My favorite chair breaks, I replace it with a new awesome one. My Ez Cap breaks, so I replace it with a dazzle. Now I gotta figure this new system out, but its already alot easier and nicer. Ez Cap was 5 bucks so no complaints on me. Also if you've never played RAD, I highly recommend it to any PS2 owner. Good story and characters, amazingly fantastic game play and combat, and the worst/ hilarious voice acting you will ever hear in your life.
