Haniel had the exciting opportunity to play on Vladimir Horowitz's famous Steinway 9 foot Piano on December 4, 2011 in Clear Lake at the Forshey Piano Store. This piano was played by Horowitz when he returned to the Soviet Union in 1986. Horowitz also toured with this piano for many years. Haniel absolutely loved playing this piano! This was a moment that Haniel will treasure always. On the evening of December 10, 2011, Haniel met Lola Astanova at the Forshey Piano Store in Clear Lake. Ms. Astanova captivated the audience, especially Haniel. It was an outstanding performance! Ms. Astanova played on the famous Horowitz piano and she will be debuting at Carnegie Hall on January 19, 2012.
