In 2008, SBST introduced a Volvo B7RLE demostrater unit. This unit was firstly introduced on Service 174. In May 2008, it was redeployed to Service 185 for a 3 month stint. It returned to Service 174 in end-July 2008. This bus is fitted with a 290 bhp Volvo D7E Euro-IV engine. This bus appeals to busfans as a 'cat' due to it's bodywork design by Soon Chow which resembles a 'fierce looking cat/monster'.

Kowloon Motor Bus was purchased 40 Volvo B7RLE single decker buses with MCV Evolution bodywork, these buses equipped Volvo D7E-290 Euro V engine and ZF Ecolife 6AP1203B transmission (Except AVC2/PE5856 with Volvo D7E-290 Euro IV and ZF Ecomat 6HP504 transmission), they're deliveried in 2010~~ These buses currently allocated on route 7, 14C, 34M, 82M, 224M, 234B, 264M, 273, 273B etc. KMB was set the additional order for the 30 more extra B7RLE chassis with the same bodywork and deliveried at 2010-2011, however they're not registered yet~~ Let's go to my 2 joyrides of the KMB's Volvo B7RLE, my first one is AVC10/PE9416 on route 273 (Wah Ming Estate - Fanling Railway Station), and my second one is AVC36/PJ7919 on special route X1 (Tung Chung Railway Station - Asia World Expo Express)~~

A rattly volvo B7RLE with some saking seats on route 180 between failsworth and hollinwood. Making an appearance is ex UK North bus P341ROO at the end of the video now working for Stotts of Oldham. Sadly no fottage of the olympian to put up as i stayed on this bus a big longer and was unable to catch it at time of filming.

The Volvo B7RLE Mk 1s were brought into Singapore in 2003 by Sentosa Development Coporation for their bus routes to replace their ageing Leyland Olympians and Mercedes Benz OFs. These buses operates on all of Sentosa's Bus Routes. These buses are fitted with a Volvo D7C engine that produces 290 bhp and meets Euro III emission standards.
