High-res photos: www.worldcarfans.com BMW has introduced the next-generation 2012 3-Series. The next 3-Series is bigger than its predecessor. The new 3er is 93 mm (3.66 inches) longer than the previous model, offering up 15 mm (0.59 inches) more legroom and 8 mm (.0315 inches) more headroom for the passengers at the back. BMW will initially offer the 3-Series in four variants - the 328i and 335i on the petrol side, and the 320d and 320d EfficienctDynamics on the diesel end. The range-topping 335i comes with a twin-turbo 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder unit producing 306 PS (225 kW / 302 hp). The new 3er still offers the 320d EfficientDynamics with 163 PS (120 kW / 161 hp) with a fuel-economy rating of just 4.1 liters/100 km and a CO2 quotient of 109 g/km. As for pricing in Europe, the 320d will sell for €35350 and the 335i will start at €43600. The new BMW 3-Series will go on sale February 11, 2012 in markets around the world. Other variants will be added in the spring of 2012 while a full-hybrid variant of the 3-Series will be launched next autumn.

BMW presents the sixth generation of the BMW 3 Series Sedan, one of the world's best-selling premium car. The new BMW face, with flat headlights reaching along as far as the BMW kidney grille, emphasises the dynamic design of the new BMW 3 Series. It has also grown in size compared to its predecessor, with its wide track (front + 37 mm, rear + 47 mm) particularly prominent, and the car's increased length (+ 93 mm) and augmented wheelbase (+ 50 mm). How To Recharge Your BMW 3 Series AC System BMW E46 1998 - 2006
Recharging The A/c System CAUTION: The high side of the A/C system is under considerable pressure. If a can of refrigerant is connected to the high side service fitting, it may explode! The system must therefore be recharged by using the low side service fitting only. If you are not sure which fittings are which, do not attempt to recharge your air conditioner yourself. Wear eye protection and avoid direct contact with the refrigerant as it can cause frostbite on bare skin. The basic recharging procedure goes as follows: 1. Identify the low side service fitting. 2. Determine the type of refrigerant required by the system. On most 1993 and older vehicles, this would be R12. On most 1994 and newer vehicles, it would be R134a. CAUTION: R12 and R134a refrigerants are incompatible and must not be intermixed. Use the type of refrigerant required for your A/C system only. On most 1993 and newer vehicles, there's an identification decal or sticker that tells what kind of refrigerant is required. Also, the size and design of R134a and R12 service fittings are different to avoid cross-contamination. 3. Connect a can of refrigerant to a gauge set or recharging hose and valve set. Follow the equipment supplier's directions for making the connections. 4. Open the valve momentarily on the gauge set or hose to blow all air out of the line (this is necessary to keep from introducing air and moisture into your A/C system). 5. I called a BMW dealer in Monrovia, CA and asked for a key for my BMW 325i. They charging me $260.00 for a Key. I didn't get that deal because it's too expensive. So I searched the net and found some great deal that costs about $120 -BUT STILL EXPENSIVE. Then I decided to try something different. I done this thing by myself and it just costs me less than $10.00 because I already have some of the materials on my tool box. The only thing that I did buy is the battery which is the Duracell 2025 Lithium Coin Cell Battery - 3V. It's also available in other brands like Energizer. This isn't rechargeable battery but who cares? If it drains out then change it. That's why in this video I didn't seal it permanently.
