The new sub-brand BMW i stands for visionary vehicles, design and a new understanding of mobility -- with a consistent focus on sustainability. The company will launch two new vehicles under the new sub-brand: The BMW i3, known previously as the "Megacity Vehicle", will be the BMW Group's first all-electric series model for urban environments. The internationally celebrated graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister has created the design of the publication CULTURE, a book describing the BMW Group's international cultural commitment. The limited edition of 1488 hand-signed copies, which are not available for sale, is based on an unconventional concept: CULTURE also features an integrated, remote-controlled car, a book that can be driven around. As a whole, the numerical arrangement of all book covers would make a square measuring 7 x 7 metres depicting a graphically abstracted image of the legendary BMW "four cylinder" building - the company headquarters in Munich built by Karl Schwanzer in 1972 - from a bird's eye view. Since the BMW headquarters was located in Munich, it would be a mistake not to drop by for a little peek. Unfortunately, the BMW Museum was partially closed due to a fashion show. BMW Welt is a multi-functional customer experience and exhibition facility of the BMW AG, located in Munich, Germany. In direct proximity to the BMW Headquarters and the Olympiapark, it is designed to present the current products of BMW, be a distribution center for BMW cars, and offer an event forum and a conference center. Even though the weather was a little crappy it did not ruin the overall expierence of BMW Welt and BMW Museum. If you ever plan on dropping by make sure to call them prior to your arrival just to confirm the opening hours and if special events are taking place that may prevent you of seeing the museum or welt. www.reformatt.com

Located in Munich - Germany, a Revolutionary 4 Cylinder Engine Design by the Viennese Architect K. Schwarzer. The flat factory buildings that are adjacent to the headquarters counterweigh the towering four-cylinder and end in a giant silver "egg cup" that houses the BMW museum. This design speaks as one of a kind during 1972 when it was the 3rd highest after monuments 'Olympiaturm' (1968) and 'Frauenkirche' (1488). This is a Four Dimensional (4D) Visualization of the building and shows its Construction Process in Time from the beginning till the end. This is a student project for Texas A&M University and most of the construction sequences are assumed nad hypothetical, thus laying more emphasis on studying the software as against being meticulous towards its design and construction features and sequence.
The proposed design The BMW Kolben is located at Victoria Park Zetland, Sydney. The BMW Kolben consists of showroom spaces, workshops, head office, BMW museum and an avant-garde technology centre which promotes sustainability and future technological advances and direction of the brand. It attempts to bestow BMW a new architectural identity with the curved glazed facade giving the products maximum exposure.
