The Evolution of Final Fantasy [10] Bahamut (Part 1)

Part 10 in a series that takes a look at the history of one of the greatest gaming franchises of all time, chronicling the many recurring themes, characters and monsters that have appeared over the years. This entry focuses on the ever-asskicking dragon, Bahamut (Part 1 of 2). Enjoy! Notes regarding this video (please read before commenting!): - For the entire series, I have simply gathered video footage from various sources on YouTube and compiled them together. I've done this only to entertain the many fans of Final Fantasy here on YouTube, so with that said, many thanks to all the folks who took the time to record the game footage. - Again, for the whole series, I've focused solely on the main games. Remakes and updates of those games are featured, but I've opted to skip games like Tactics, FFX-2 and such. I had to draw the line somewhere to keep a reasonable length. - As usual, DS video is kind of tricky to capture, so the footage for FFIII isn't direct-feed quality. I used the best I could find. - Although not found in the original release, the extra boss fight added in the later remakes of FFIV has been included.

This fight took me an hour, which is why it's divided into 2 parts. Be warned that you MIGHT get a little bored at the same pattern over and over, but this is the only way you are going to beat the Dark Aeons in a NSG without Zanmato: Attacking, sheilding, and healing. I'm using Shiva's Diamond Dust the same way you would use Anima's Pain, but the recover time is longer, so you'll need to be more careful.

Bahamut's Divine Performance Volume 2

This video shows the latest Fish OTK deck, with Bahamut84 performing how you can get infinite Trishulas, or even do a first turn OTK all the same time! More self touching inside! (Be warned, level of difficulty no lower then the first divine performance deck. Higher even, in my opinion) Combo Sequence: 1. Summon out Coelacanth 2. Through abuse of 2 Fishborg Gunner and 2 Oyster Meister summoned by Coelacanth, as well as using a Level Stealer, summon out Hyper Librarian, and get 3 Dewloren and 3 Formula Synchron to grave (Synchro Dewloren, summon Fishborg, Level Stealer minus 1 level, synchro next Dewloren. Dewloren bounces Level Stealer to hand, discard Stealer for Fishborg, sp Stealer, rinse and repeat) 3. Summon out Powertool Dragon and abuse infinite Powertool Dragon summoning to get 2 Symbol of Heritage to hand, while drawing with Hyper Librarian (Symbol revives Dewloren, minus 1 star from Powertool for Level Stealer. Dewloren bounces Symbol, Level Stealer and Powertool back. Discard Level Stealer for Fishborg, synchro for Powertool again) 4. Using above loops, draw your entire deck with Hyper Librarian 5. First Symbol for Dewloren, Second Symbol for Formula, Level Stealer from Librairan. Dewloren bounces the 2 Symbols to hand, Synchro Trishula 6. Rinse and repeat by reducing Trishula's level by 1 for Level Stealer, then revive Dewloren and Formula with the 2 Symbols. Then Dewloren bounces Trishula and the 2 Symbols back, then Synchro Trishula, rinse and repeat. 7 ...

バハムート ラグーン / Bahamut Lagoon (Super Famicom, 1996)

Recorded on Super Famicom system w/capture card Intro. Another passed up Squaresoft masterpiece. For all the newbs that never heard of this game, even though it has the name Bahamut in it, it has no relation with Final Fantasy. But at one point, it came close to being that. When Bahamut Lagoon was in its early development state, it was originally proposed to be called THE "Final Fantasy Tactics". But somehow they thought the game didn't have enough Final Fantasy references. So Squaresoft wrote it off as a different game on its own, and the FFT name was reserved for several years later when they developed for Playstation. The Super Famicom/Super Nintendo really shows its potential in this. Lagoon's graphics are so damn beautiful!

* Remember to turn on Annotations!* *The "speech bubble" button* ============================== Revisiting the Infernity Loop with the addition of Daigusto Emeral from Duel Terminal 13. For text form: duelingdays.blogspot.com Daigusto Emeral yugioh.wikia.com Rank 4/WIND/Rock-Type - Effect, Xyz/1800 ATK/800 DEF 2 Level 4 Monsters. Once per turn, you can detach 1 of this card's Xyz Materials to activate one of the following effects: • Select 3 monsters in your Graveyard and shuffle them into your Deck. Draw 1 card. • Target 1 monster in your Graveyard, other than an Effect Monster, and Special Summon it. First effect is exactly the same as Pot of Avarice, so shuffling back the monsters is NOT a cost. Even though I linked to the wiki, the effect stated there is not accurate. The combo is supposed to end when you run out of Hundred Eyes Dragon. But using the first effect of Daigusto Emeral, you can shuffle back Hundred Eyes Dragon repeatedly and therefore doing the Trishula Infinitely!

Lord of Arcana | SnS Guide - Bahamut

Finally managed to get better quality... For bahamut I prefer to fight up close infront of this giant, rather than try a hit and run. I ended up having to use 3 potions though... If the rec on the top left side bothers you then sorry, was testing 2 rec methods at the same time... [Lord of Arcana] Boss - The third Arcana, Bahamut 1st Melee Duel - 5:17 2nd Melee Duel - 7:49 Level 16, Weapon Proficiency lvl 10 Equipment -Claiomh Solais -Hard Bronze Buckler -Sacred Band -Assassin Clothes Orbs -Eye of the Gods -Daemon Mark (Optional) Battle Art -Will O' the Wisp Notes: I don't know why they decided to put such a powerful boss immediately after 2 weak ones. Anyways for Bahamut the key to fighting him with SnS is practice, experience, patience and timing. If you still can't beat him with SnS, I suggest you use a different weapon such as gunlance. SnS against bahamut when you're a beginner is close to suicidal. Anyways, when fighting upclose to him, during his tail swipe, I use a 3 hit combo b4 his swipe, a block, then a 4 hit combo after he swipes. If he uses cyclone, he'll prob attack faster, i try to attack only once then block. I don't wanna get his by his Charge XD Music: Vs Master Guardian III

Dark Bahamut is pitted against the Dark Magus Sisters in this epic clash of Dark Aeons! Ok, it's not the REAL Dark Bahamut, but he's close enough. Character model edits were done with codes. Ability and damage limit edits were also done with codes. All other edits were done in FFXED. Final Fantasy VIII - Bahamut

Note: This is not a challenge fight, it is a display fight, which is why I purposly toned down my junctions with weak magic. And read the tiny FAQ at bottom if you're wondering how you can not level up. Bahamut is an optional boss in FFVIII. Beating him makes him join you as a GF (Summon). He is located in the Deep Sea Research Center, and can be obtained as soon as you get the Ragnarok near the end of Disc 3. Speaking of which, as soon as you get the Ragnarok and do the small scenes before going into the Lunatic Pandora, it's the best part of the game to do and finish sidequests. The LP is pretty much a point of no return, so don't go there yet unless you've done everything (unless of course you don't care). Anyway, don't underestimate Bahamut. He can end the fight easily if you're unprepared. You also are forced into two Ruby Dragon fights before hand, in which you must defeat them without being able to access the menu, and then you go right to Bahamut. So make sure you prepare before the Ruby Dragons. Also, make sure you select the right options to the questions Bahamut asks, or you'll end up fighting more than you need to. Bahamut generally has weak attacks. But when you start getting confident, he then whips out Mega Flare. This move completely ignores defenses. So think of it as not having anything junctioned to your defense stats. Ouch, indeed. If you are not at full HP when he does this attack, plan on that character getting KOed. Bahamut's Perfected Performance (Fish FTK)

Thank you to Bahamut for posting the original video - this is a massively updated video since the original, in making the FTK shorter, easier, more consistent, and stronger against Effect Veiler. Although it is not a true FTK, being able to deal 13300 damage with 10+ cards in hand, and your opponent having no cards to respond with, is just as good.

Final Fantasy 8 Bahamut

I thought this was going to be two parts but luckily I was able to cut a few pieces out and stick the two parts together. It's a little known fact but you can blind Bahamut. Make sure you do that early so that he doesn't tear you apart. I actually don't have all of the best weapons yet. Here's why: I can't adjust the levels for the elnoyle that attacks you in Esthar so the only other alternatives to getting energy crystals are gambling on the rare high level drops for Behemoths and ruby dragons. I also want to keep my card needs to a MINIMUM. I AM NOT CARDING 60 ELNOYLES. Forget it! I am getting bahamut now so I can take advantage of his "rare item" ability. As far as mugging goes I shouldn't need to do that anymore for the rest of the game. Unless we are talking about curse spikes from tri faces. Speaking of energy crystal problems this also puts a damper on my ultima gathering speed. I'm going to try and get my hundred ultimas for everyone on ultima weapon. If that doesn't turn out so well then it might be a while before I fight him. Either that or I'll smash ultima weapon early and then it's just going to be a really long time until I get back to lunatic pandora and finish the third disc. Horrible awful really bad news: The ultima weapon video got messed up. Why I don't know. It must've been too long or some such bullshit. The video file was only 678 seconds. I could've just chopped off the intro but my computer won't play it back. Oh well I'm more focused on Omega ...

The Evolution of Final Fantasy [11] Bahamut (Part 2)

Part 11 in a series that takes a look at the history of one of the greatest gaming franchises of all time, chronicling the many recurring themes, characters and monsters that have appeared over the years. This entry focuses on the ever-asskicking dragon, Bahamut (Part 2 of 2). Enjoy! I had to draw the line somewhere to keep a reasonable length. - Bahamut plays a sizeable role in FFIX, so there's plenty of other spots I could have used, but was running short on time. - The first clip of FFX portrays the fayth of Bahamut in the storyline, who's role is quite important to say the least. - FFX International has an additional boss summon fight. - You fight Bahamut more than once in FFXI, but most of the time you're looking at some feet, so I just included a snippet. - Yes, Bahamut is a ship in FFXII. Fair amount of sequences I could have used, but I chose the one where it does a blast reminiscent of earlier summons in the franchise.

He has a count of 3, and counter attacks Jump and Fight with his own Fight. So, you can either try to Jump on the two and land after the Mega Flare or you can use a Light or Lunar Curtain to cast Reflect on yourself and bounce the Mega Flare back.
