3/24(土)のイオンモール浦和美園 1部で初めて披露されたBeat Generationです。 テレビ向けパフォーマンスとイベント向けパフォーマンスが違う点が見どころ。 本日のイベントでは、ヘッドマイクではなくハンドマイクを使用、 サビのジャンプのシーンも他のフリが使用されているようですね。 生で見ると、さらにとてもかっこよいです。 春休みはイベントラッシュなので、行ける方はぜひ生で見てみてください！ なお、No More Distanceはまだ披露されておりません。 こちらもいずれ披露してくれるとのことでしたので、今後が楽しみですね

Amram offers his reminisces on Beat Generation artists Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg (who happen to be Columbia alumni as well). Amram moves then to a discussion of the multiple connections of jazz and improvisation with modern culture. In this clip, Amram is introduced by Sara Villa, who talks briefly about Amram's role as a character and score composer in the movie "Pull My Daisy."

LE RETOUR DE LA BEAT GENERATION
Le Resume Dans l'Amérique conservatrice des années 50, entre guerre froide, Maccarthysme et ségrégation raciale, un petit groupe de poètes, dont la figure emblématique s'appelle Jack Kerouac, donne naissance à un formidable mouvement qui va profondément bouleverser la culture et la société américaines. Un vent nouveau enfièvre alors la jeunesse pour qui tout devient possible : vivre sa vie et sa sexualité en toute liberté, se rebeller contre l'ordre social, rejeter le passé et la peur du lendemain, voyager, rêver, inventer, s'habiller "cool", bref, la jeunesse envisage une autre façon de vivre et de penser. La "Beat generation" est née ! Mais que signifie "être Beat" ? Pourquoi Jack Kerouac était-il plus conservateur que "Beatnik" ? Comment cette génération at-elle fini par influencer la jeunesse française qui s'est retrouvée dans les rues en mai 68 ? Et quel héritage la "Beat generation" nous at-elle laissé aujourd'hui ? C'est l'histoire que propose de raconter ce film, porté par des témoins ayant bien connu la "Beat generation" et ses acteurs : Peter Fonda, Jérôme Savary, Elisabeth Guigou, Lee Purcell, Gerald Nicosia...
