fr.euronews.com Cada 3 o 4 minutos aparece un nuevo camión en el horizonte, un monstruo de 9 metros de altura procedente de la mina de carbón de Banovici, en Bosnia Herzegovina. Esta gente no ha conseguido un trabajo en la mina, pero sobrevive gracias a ella. Entre 300 y 400 personas separan los deshechos de la mina que se tiran aquí. "El carbón se saca de ahí abajo, donde están escarbando. Los camiones lo traen aquí, lo vierten, nosotros lo recogemos y lo clasificamos", dice Esed. Esed tiene 28 años y trabaja aquí desde que tiene 12 o 13. Cada día recoge de 10 a 20 sacos, entre 500 kilos y 1 tonelada: "Si no nos damos prisa, no nos llevamos nada. Somos muchos. Así que corremos, a veces casi nos enfrentamos porque si no, ni yo mismo puedo recoger 2 sacos al día y eso significa perder de 5 a 10 euros al día. Cuando los camiones paran para descansar aprovechamos para meternos y llevar los sacos a las camionetas para venderlos". Ente 2005 y 2006 Esed emigró a Francia en busca de una vida mejor. Este lugar es peligroso, especialmente para las mujeres de más de 70 años que también trabajan aquí: "Hay accidentes. Hace unos años un camión aplastó a un mujer. O a veces pasa que una piedra se cae y te da en la pierna, eso me ha pasado a mi, pero no pasa nada, seguimos". El Gobierno francés ha ayudado a Esed a regresar de forma voluntaria. Le ha facilitado 6.500 euros para que monte una micro empresa. Compró este vehículo para llevar y vender el carbón. Gana 300 euros al mes <b>...</b>
