Production Date: 2009 Duration: 12' Copyright : CRTN Language: English, French Executive Producer: Mark Riedemann Director: Marie-Pauline Meyer Bradi Barth was born in 1922 in St. Gallen, Switzerland as the third of four children. From the very early stages of her childhood Bradi Barth was marked by her love for painting and consequently her particularly acute sense of the world. Bradi Barth devoted herself entirely to religious art, always considering her artistic talent to be a gift from God. Following her deep attachment to the Black Madonna of Einsiedeln, the Mother of God has become the central theme of many of her paintings. Her portrayals of the Magnificat and the Rosary are among her most famous pictures. Her paintings have been displayed throughout Europe and the USA. For many years now, Aid to the Church in Need has been privileged to make use of her work to il-lustrate its publications. Bradi Barth was deeply private, granting only a few inter-views in her lifetime. This is the only film to have been made about her.
