HE GOT A PHONE CALL FROM A MAN WHO CONFIRMED THAT HE HAD THIS '53 MERC THAT WAS ORIGINALLY OWNED BY HIS GRANDFATHER. IT WAS STORED IN A SHED FOR MANY YEARS AND NOW THE SHED WAS FALLING DOWN. THE MAN ASKED THE GRANDSON IF HE WOULD WANT IT. YES! SO THE GRANDSON RECLAIMED HIS GRANDFATHER'S CAR AND IT UNDERWENT A TOTAL RESTORATION. THE INTERIOR HAS BEEN RESTORED TO FACTORY SPECS IN COLOR AND PATTERN. THE CONTINENTAL KIT AND EXTENSION WAS HAND MADE AND MOUNTED. THE ENGINE WAS REPLACED WITH A 255 CID 125 BHP POWERPLANT. THE BITTERSWEET AND CREAM PAINT ARE FACTORY ORIGINAL COLORS THIS IS ONE BEAUTIFUL MACHINE AND ONE GREAT STORY OF A CLASSY CAR BEING REUNITED WITH THE ORIGINAL FAMILY. We are in our white 1961 Chrysler New Yorker, driving home along the A127 in Essex, England. We were in convoy with our 6 classic American cars, returning from the Navestock classic , American and Hotrod car show near Brentwood in Essex. filmed by Ruthie from inside our own car on 9th August 2009. We passed Frank and Pat in their 59 Chevy Impala, Steve and Tracy in their 56 Chevy, Reg in his red 59 Thunderbird, Ken in his 57 Chevy Nomad and Ken in a 74 Chevy Nova. All cars and owners live locally in Essex.

This is a sampling from the main features on the Fiero 25th anniversary DVD. It contains lots of footage from the show as well as Talks from the speakers at the banquet, as well as showcased cars and owners. This is a must have DVD if you own a Fiero or love the car. I shot the content of this DVD and the video over the 4 days during the event. I was given exclusive access to many areas as well as prototype car access that allowed me to capture details that nobody else were allowed to.

The Third Annual Atlanta Meet for the Online Imperial Owners Club took place on May 1, 1999, with 18 cars in attendance. The beautiful spring weather and the sumptuous surroundings of the Southern Center for International Studies were the perfect setting for an Imperial gathering. These are really antique cars..the setting is cool, one of the oldest buildings in Mt. Dora, Florida. These old hotels were home for "snowbirds" who came down from the north for the winter. Few survive..but this one is in good shape, and still has beautiful views of Lake Dora. Here are some great examples of cars from the teens...just think..they're approaching a hundred years old! All are very tall, mostly open cars..enclosed cars were not really big yet, and they had a strong point of being much more "weatherproof" and comfortable to ride in. The five cars included in this video are a 1915 Buick, a White car from the teens, a Ford Model T, 1910, a Studebaker of 1915, and a Hudson of 1912. Note how rudimentary the instrument panels were...often just wood with a couple gauges attached. I will try to return tomorrow to capture more of these show cars on video. The cars and owners are here for several days, touring the area during the day..makes for some interesting sights!
