Mercedes-Benz has announced full details on the 2012 CLS 63 AMG model. New for the CLS 63 is now AMG's 5.5 liter biturbo V8 engine, which replaces the outgoing naturally aspirated 6.3 liter V8. The new 5.5 liter biturbo unit features a peak output of 410 kW (557 PS/550 bhp) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque with the AMG Performance package. The standard engine configuration is rated at 386 kW (525 PS / 521 bhp) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. Both units are mated to the AMG Speedshift MCT 7-speed sport transmission. Fuel economy on the standard CLS 63 AMG now comes in at under 10 liter/100 km (a noteworthy achievement) - with a 9.9 liters per 100 km rating on the European cycle (NEDC). That represents a remarkable 32 percent improvement in fuel-economy over the predecessor's 6.3 liter unit with an output of 378 kW (514 PS/510 bhp) and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque. That new fuel-economy rating comes by means of a stop/start system, engine technology such as piezo injectors and an aluminum crankshaft, as well as the use of aluminum panels in the body. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint is 4.4 seconds for the standard model and 4.3 seconds for the CLS 63 with the AMG Performance package. The standard variant has a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). The CLS 63 AMG comes with 3 drive modes: 'S' (Sport), 'S+' (Sport plus) and 'M' (Manual) and features AMG Ride Control suspension for a smoother, more exact ride quality with 3 modes of its own: Comfort, Sport and <b>...</b>

Mercedes-Benz has officially released photos and details on the upcoming 2012 CLS-Class which will make its debut at the Paris motor show in October. In these official photos we now get to see the design of the 2012 CLS-Class in its entirety. The flared wheel arches along with the broad shoulder lines and a flattened nose give the CLS a far more muscular look than its sleeker predecessor. New technology on the CLS-Class includes the LED headlamps, which feature a total of 71 individual lights. The lights are split into three sections, with the upper set forming the turn indicator, the middle serving as a low beam side light which also works when the high beams are on. There are the headlights themselves which do the night lighting. Inside is an interior finish done with some human touches. The wrap-around dash goes from door to door and holds the instrument panel and display screen. There are also matte galvanized vents and an analogue clock. The handcraft is featured in the stitched seat covers as well as in the dashboard and Mercedes-Benz has gone through the trouble of preshrinking the leather it uses on the CLS so it won't tighten up in the heat. High-gloss wood panels are also embedded inside the cabin - on the dash, center console and door linings. Buyers have a choice of brown burl walnut or black ash. What Mercedes-Benz hasn't yet announced is which power plants will make it under the bonnet of the CLS. But we can expect the usual suspects - a 250 CDI with 204 PS <b>...</b>

The Mercedes-Benz CLS is a series of automobile models assembled by Daimler AG in Sindelfingen, Germany. The Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class is an executive-size sedan based on the (W211) E-Class model. The current iteration of the CLS is internally designated as the Mercedes-Benz C219. Marketed as a 'four door coupe,' the CLS recalls the fastback saloon designs of Robert Opron in the 1970s. According to a Mercedes-Benz press release, the CLS-class was produced to combine the "strong, emotive charisma" of a coupe with the "comfort and practicality" of a saloon. Save for its four-door design, the CLS's design tends towards a coupe, as its sleek body reduces the rear passenger room, and it offers a smaller selection of engines tending towards high powered of the range, compared to contemporary sedans such as the E-Class. The CLS marked Mercedes-Benz's return to the executive-size coupe market since the (W124) E-Class Coupe model went out of production in 1995. This video demonstrates shows you the steps to set your D80's pop-up flash as the commander for Nikon Creative Lighting System (CLS) with both flashes of Nikon SB-600 and SB-800. This video also apply to D70 / D70s / D80 / D200 / D300 / D300s / D700 because these D-SLR's are compatible with Nikon Creative Lighting System feature using built-in popup flash. D1 / D2 / D3-Series / F-Series do not have pop-up flash and does not have internal Nikon Creative Lighting System feature but you can do one of these: use a flash unit as a master flash (SB-800 or SB-900 only), use a SU-800 Commander, or use a Pocketwizard unit to trigger the remote flashes. D3000 / D5000 / D40 / D40X / D50 / D100 does not have internal Nikon Creative Lighting System feature but you can use the popup flash in manual mode and set the SB-800 / SB-900 for SU-4 mode then set the SB-800 / SB-900 for manual OR you can pair it up with Pocketwizards and it will fire, no problem. THe images here are to give you an idea of how you can do it and what the images can look like. Dropping different things into the water would make more interesting images. This technique used NIkon cls system to communicate with the flashes from the camera. I had the camera on manual mode and the flashes just on ttl mode, i made sure the background was black (my folder) and made sure that the flashes were not reflecting off the background.
