Disappointed in the Canadiana gift. I really dislike the Maple soap. Nice large piece of soap and in a great leaf shape but I do not care for the scent at all. It doesn't have much of a scent but the little bit that is there is just really unpleasant. Just smells really...wrong. But that is just my opinion. I will be passing this piece on to someone else. The Mountie massage bar is very tiny. He's a cutie but small. He contains white chocolate, creamed coconut, vanilla, jasmine absolute, tangerine oil, and patchouli. I think he smells mostly of cocoa butter and also a chocolatey Easter candy smell. Reminds me very much of Business Time which I also think smells like cheap Easter candy. Super melty bar though and he smells better on my skin. The wrapping is cute but I'm underwhelmed with this gift. Priced at $16.95 Very happy Lush included a free Frothy with this order. Leftover Frothies! I don't know when I will muster the courage to try Cosmic Dreamcatcher. I take it out and sniff it every now and then and my eyes nearly water. It's such a strong, intimidating scent. Im determined to try it on my skin..eventually. Into Thin Air massage bar is in the same mold as my beloved Bewitched. Love the bumpy design. It's full of green mung beans which seems a little redundant to me. I love the scent. I was looking forward to the fennel in it but it isn't really strong in this bar. Doesn't matter because I do really like the fragrance. It's a very green, fresh, clean scent. I am <b>...</b>

Originally issued February 1958 in Canada on Quality 1690 and in the US on Jubilee 5311. Morris Koffman (1928-2001) was born in Toronto. He made his first recordings in 1948, and played as featured soloist (flute, sax, clarinet) with the big bands of Charlie Barnet and Jimmy Dorsey. In 1957, he signed with Jubilee Records in New York, and made this record. Its original title was "Blues A La Canadiana," but it was changed at the suggestion of the engineer at the sesssion at RCA Studios on Mutual Street in Toronto, to "The Swingin' Shepherd Blues." It became an international smash, and eventually won a BMI award for one million logged plays. It remained his biggest hit over a career spanning four decades, during which he played before royalty and heads of state, becoming a legend. Many honors and awards were bestowed upon him, including the Order of Canada. Curiously, if ever this song is played, it is more likely to be one of several remakes he cut over the years. Here's the original recording, clean as a whistle. Note: the label on the Virgo reissue single pictured misidentifes his group as a Septette; there were only four players.
