Its been a while since last i played a Totalwar game, so today i tried the Selucids vs Partians. The Partian spearmen tried to avoid the head-on clash & they were spreading to try to flank my less manuverable phalanx. A mistake i shouldn't have made was i let my right flank Companion cavalry in the middle of both side's elephants fighting & persian cavalry & spearmen, so they got annihilated. However, with my left flank Cataphracts i engaged their Cataphracts & routed them while my phalanx units had started to make some damage among their spearmen & showering them with javelins & arrows from behind. The Persians gave one hell of a fight but in the end i got them routed.
