The film has been in our family for many years. The footage was taken in what is now an abandoned cemetery in northeast Indiana. The figure appears to be a person kneeling under a tree. You have to watch closely to see it because the film quality dropped a lot during transfer to digital format.

The preeminent metal band of the early to mid-'90s, Pantera put to rest any and all remnants of the '80s metal scene, almost single-handedly demolishing any notion that hair metal, speed metal, power metal, et al., were anything but passé. Loathe to admit it, the Texas band had in fact been one of those '80s metal bands, releasing fairly unsuccessful (and later disowned) glam-inspired music throughout much of the decade. Be sure to sign up for the Cooking With Jack Facebook page: facebook.com Here is the recipe: Cemetery Cake Makes 12 servings Prep: 15 minutes Bake: at 350 degrees for 33 minutes Decorate: 30 minutes CAKE 1 box (18.25 ounces) of chocolate cake 3 large eggs 1/2 cup vegetable oil FROSTING AND DECORATIONS 6 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped 3/4 cup heavy cream rectangular cookies (social tea biscuits) Rounded cookies (Pepperidge farm Milano cookies pumpkin candies (such as Jelly Belly) 1. prehead oven to 350 degrees F. coat 13x9x2 inch baking spray. 2. Cake. Prepare cake mix with 1 1/4 cups water, the eggs and oil as per package directions. Transfer batter to prepared pan. Bake at 350 for 31-33 minutes. cool completely. 3. Trim crowned area from top of cake. reserve scraps for later use. Invert cake onto serving platter. 4 Frosting and decorations. Place chopped chocolate in a medium bowl. Heat cream in a glass measuring cup in microwave for 1 minutes. Pour over chocolate and let stand 5 minutes. Whisk until smooth. Let cool an additional 5 minutes. 5. Transfer 1/2 cup of the chocolate mixture to a pastry bag or resealable plastic bag. Pour and spread remaining frosting over cake allowing some to drip down cake sides. Snip a small corner from plastic bag. Pipe decorations onto cookies. let dry. With a knife, cut slits into cake and insert decorated cookies into slits. Derived from Greek, the word "necropolis" means "city of the dead," and few places make the word seem appropriate quite like New Orleans' above-ground cemeteries. The city's position in relation to sea level makes it hard to bury the dead, making these types of cemeteries necessary. And, as often happens, necessity gave rise to art. St. Louis Cemetery #1 is the city's oldest burial spot. It's lined with monuments that date back centuries, and which exist in various stages of upkeep, from the brand new and well-preserved to graves crumbling into deep disrepair. The tight quarters, disorienting passageways, and intricate, sometimes eerie, religious sculptures give it an atmosphere unlike any other place on Earth. It's easy to see why Dennis Hopper, Peter Fonda, and the rest of the team behind Easy Rider would choose it for the film's acid freak-out sequence. Yet, removed from the rapid editing, distressing industrial noise, and hallucinatory muttering, the place has an eerily peaceful quality. A steady stream of tourists come and go throughout the day, but the cemetery's walls and looming monuments otherwise largely isolate it from the sounds of the city around it. The necropolis also has its celebrities. These include Homer Plessy, of the Plessy v. Ferguson Supreme Court decision that changed the course of civil rights legislation, Etienne de Boré, New Orleans' first mayor, and Ernest "Dutch" Morial, the city's first black mayor.
