
Highlights of 2010 inaugural New Era Pinstripe Bowl football game at Yankee Statium in the Bronx, New York City on December 30, 2010. Syracuse Orange defeated Kansas State by a score of 36-34. Running back Delone Carter was named most valuable player with two touchdowns and a career-high 198 yards rushing on 28 carries. Wide receiver Marcus Sales had five receptions for a career-best 172 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Ryan Nassib threw for 240 yards, completed 13 passes including three touchdown passes. Ross Krautman kicked the game winning field goal from 39 yards. Punter Rob Long was at the game after having surgery to remove a brain tumor.
