Costa Rica Chito "The Crocodile Man and the famous Crocodile Poncho"
Rather than trying to tame wild stallions, fearless Costa Rican fisherman Chito prefers a playful wrestle in the water with his best pal Pocho - a deadly 17ft crocodile. The 52-year-old daredevil draws gasps of amazement from onlookers by wading chest-deep into the water, then whistling for his 980lb buddy - and giving him an affectionate hug. Crazy Chito says: "Poncho is my best friend. This is a very dangerous routine but we have a good relationship. He will look me in the eye and not attack me. It is too dangerous for anyone else to come in the water. It is only ever the two of us." Chito made friends with the croc after finding him with a gunshot wound on the banks of the Central American state's Parismina river 20 years ago. He had been shot in the left eye by a cattle farmer and was close to death. But Chito enlisted the help of several pals to load the massive reptile into his boat. He says: "When I found Poncho in the river he was dying, so I brought him into my house. He was very skinny, weighing only around 150lb I gave him chicken and fish and medicine for six months to help him recover. I stayed by Poncho's side while he was ill, sleeping next to him at night. I just wanted him to feel that somebody loved him, that not all humans are bad. It meant a lot of sacrifice. I had to be there every day. I love all animals - especially ones that have suffered." It took years before Chito felt that Poncho had bonded with him enough to get closer to the animal. He says <b>...</b>

Mimino (Georgian: მიმინო) (Russian: Мимино) , is a 1977 comedy film by Soviet Georgian director Georgi Daneliya produced by Mosfilm and Gruziya-film, starring Vakhtang Kikabidze and Frunzik Mkrtchyan. The Soviet era comedy won the 1977 Golden Prize at the Moscow International Film Festival. It is also highly rated by users of the Internet Movie Database, with 88% of 1042 users giving it an 8 or better as of February 2010. Georgian bush pilot Mimino (Vakhtang Kikabidze) works at small local airlines, flying helicopters between small villages. But he dreams of piloting large international airlines aircraft, so he decides to go to Moscow to follow his dream. There in a hotel he meets Armenian truck driver Roobik Khachikyan (Frunzik Mkrtchyan) who is given a place in that hotel by mistake instead of another Khachikyan (Professor), and they have a lot of adventures in Moscow. Always amicable and open to people, Mimino does not feel at home in the big city. Nevertheless, he becomes a pilot of a supersonic jet liner, the Tupolev Tu-144, flying all over the world. But feeling homesick, he finally comes back to his native town of Telavi in Georgia, to his family and friends. Mimino's real name in the film is Valentin Mizandari - his nickname 'Mimino' is the Georgian word for falcon.

A Concert was held at La Salette Shrine, Biga, Silang, Cavite (Philippines). It was for the benefit of Bantay Bata, or children of the poor under a Diocesan Work. The star of the the show was our own bishop. But the priests of the diocese also beautifully sang and danced. I was glad I had a videocam and recorded the evening. The lighting condition was poor so I had to use manual aperture settings. The audience was surprised and awed by the display of talent by these anointed servants.

Gilberto Shedden, más conocido como "Chito", es un hombre con muchos atributos artísticos, pero quizás el más peligroso es el acto que practica con un cocodrilo de casi cinco metros, al cual llama "Poncho". Los 78 grandes y afilados dientes del animal, las 820 libras que pesa o su instinto de depredador no son ningún impedimento para el show que monta "Chito" todos los domingos a las tres de la tarde en el Centro Turístico Las Truchas, que se ubica un kilómetro al norte de la antigua estación del ferrocarril en Siquirres. Extrañamente, el cocodrilo siendo un depredador de alto riesgo obedece todas las órdenes de "Chito" como si fuera el perro de la casa. Si le pide que abra el hocico éste lo hace, le da la orden de que mueva la cola y la mueve, incluso hasta le hace cosquillas. Es por eso que tan sólo hace un par de meses empezó a realizar un desafiante acto con el terrible depredador. "Un día decidí hacer un espectáculo para el pueblo. A mí me gustan las loqueras y entonces pensé en un espectáculo con el cocodrilo". El hombre aprovechó que la bestia tiene un sentimiento como de agradecimiento hacia "Chito" y se siente bien cuando se le acerca porque se puede decir que le salvó la vida. "Un día me metí al agua con él porque sentía que me mostraba cariño como un perro agradecido. Lo primero que hice fue la vuelta mortal. Que es levantarlo como a una pulgada del agua y le daba tres vueltas; a la gente le gustó mucho". Poco a poco empezó a llegar la gente y así el show de <b>...</b>
