For this animation I received the craft award in the Furzedown film festival, it also came second in the audiences favourite. Thanks for the support everyone. A man wakes up to find himself in aa white room. This is my AS film studies coursework, it took me 1 and a half weeks to complete. I used iStopmotion 2 Pro to animate, and iMovie HD to edit it. Blank Canvas Clay Animation
This is my AS art exam entry, I only had 8 hours time to make this which includes time for the modeling of the plasticine. I have tried a different style to normal, I have combined the use of painted animation and clay animation, both however done in stop motion. The general idea of this animation is that different creatures arrive in a blank set, and as they move about they leave a trail of acrylic paint, eventuly resulting in the covering of the blank setting. Dante's Inferno (Clay Animation, 16mm)
www.alexiswallerimages.com A VERY abridged (and unfinished) movie of Dante's Inferno, depicting the pilgrim's journey from the dark wood to the Giants in Canto XXXI, just before their descent in to Cocytus. I've sculpted the devil (he's stored in a shoebox in my closet) but haven't filmed that part yet. Theoretically, Purgatorio and Paradiso will follow. This is what happens when you graduated with a major in Italian lit in today's world. Unemployment ensues, followed by acquisitions of 16mm cameras and months spent bringing exiled 13th century Florentine statesmen to life in plasticine. My newest clay animated short film! Finally, after many months I have Lethal Lens finished and ready to watch! "Lethal Lens" A short film by Dan MacKenzie Original music by Drumr345 The reason it took so long is that I had been waiting on a media music composer to finish the score, but we lost contact and I hadn't heard from him in 2 months. I ended up using more of a friend's music to finish the score, so it fits well but is not as perfect as I originally hoped. I feel there eventually may be another version with a remade soundtrack, which will be fun, but for now enjoy: Lethal Lens!

With this animation I wanted to go back to my roots a bit and just play around with fun movements and morphs with plasticine shapes and figures. While playing around with lighting I discovered that if you place objects on a light box and rig another set of lights to shine on them from above then you get a really nice, crisp and colourful result. So I used a vertical tripod with a Cannon 450D to look down onto the light box. Then I just played around with the plasticine and animated whatever movements came into my head. This was also my first time using Dragon Stop Motion which is now my software of choice for any stop motion animation. Contact: Thatmax@mac.com

My GCSE art exam. The theme was "wraps" so I decided to show a man's quest to build the biggest rybber band ball on Earth, however it backfires. I only had 10 hours to complete this entire animation (including modeling) so some parts seem a bit rushed. I made this animation at 25 frames per second using iStopmotion and a 15 inch Macbook Pro, the camera that I used was a Panasonic Mini DV NV-GS27 camcorder. www.claynation.co.uk
