Anime Eyes with MAC
I've seen a lot of anime/manga eye makeup looks in the past, but a lot of them don't look like the actual style seen in anime/manga. Or at least the ones I've seen...even the Hello Kitty Lady Gaga one (although it was cool) looked a bit flat to me. Basically I colored the eyes more like my understanding of what anime/manga eyes look like. I apologize if there's food in my teeth. What can I say, I like to eat. Music credit: (again, these music disks were gifted to me, so I will do my best to give as much info as possible) "Cutie Honey" by Koda Kumi "Come with Me" by Koda Kumi "Sweet Friends" by Crystal Kay from her KISS album All MAC products used are shown in the video. The only e/s that may be unreadable is "shimmer moss" which is the greenish one layered over the upper half of the eye. Again, you if you are recreating this look or making your own version, you may use whatever products you currently own or make your own substitutions. I don't do trials beforehand; these looks just come to me and I record them that day. Also, my tip for checking symmetry and balance: look up/down in mirror. Or, take a picture and you will see where your mistakes are. There are some unpolished edges in this look, but you get the point :)

Metallica - Fuel This is the new Metallica-sound, or not the new but this is some of their newest stuff. And that is not as popular and good as the classic Metallica stuff, just so you know: Metallica play Thrash-Metal too:) "Fuel" is the opening song from Metallica's ReLoad album. It stems from the thrill of fast driving and street racing. The song could also be applied to the fact that people like to drive their lives (like their cars) too fast. It is one of James Hetfield's favorite songs as he later said before a concert played at an Oakland Raiders game,"We have to play Fuel...'cause it gets me pumped up." (taped on Some Kind of Monster) Another interpretation of this song, which reflects the external struggles of the band members themselves as well as the personal lyric style James Hetfield adopted beginning with The Black Album, suggests that the song is about addiction. Specifically the addiction may be Hetfield's alcoholism, but it could be a reference to any sort of addiction. It is a reference to whatever it may be that fuels a person. Further, it may reflect Hetfield's decision to substitute his love of cars and racing for his love of alcohol. Will.I.Am - "I Like to Move It" Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa
WE LOVE TO MOVE IT, MOVE IT! In the summer of 2005, Madagascar scored big with both domestic and international audiences, racking up more than half-a-billion at the worldwide box office, making it the top family comedy of the year. Once the fancy-footed lion, a quick talking zebra, an anxiety-ridden giraffe and a smart n saucy hippo were released into theaters around the globe, these four New York friends—better known as Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria—became the most popular quartet of the season. Writer/director Eric Darnell remembers being relieved by the reception of Madagascar, but not really that surprised. He says, Madagascar was a success because it had these entertaining and enjoyable characters that people could identify with—they also connected with them on a human level. And despite their flaws, their issues, their anxieties, whatever problems they may be facing, you always empathize with them and want them to come through. Writer/director Tom McGrath continues, We just fell in love with the characters that we created along with Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer and Jada Pinkett Smith—and clearly, everyone else did, too. We had this great ensemble cast that we just totally loved. We took on the theme of civility versus savagery and turned that into a friendship story about these zoo animals, when their bonds were tested once they got into Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa Production Information 3 the wild.
