Just a little side note... This recipe is good for one use. For best results, I recommend using all of the mixture on your hair. Do not try to save it in the refrigerator because the avocado will go bad after a week. Fresh ingredients always work best! You'll need: -1 ripe avocado -1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil -1 tablespoon honey **If you have shorter hair, you can use half an avocado and half the amount of olive oil and honey. Directions: Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the insides with a spoon and use a fork to mash it up. Add olive oil and honey and combine until a thick paste is formed. Apply lightly to the roots of dry hair working down into the ends of hair. Use more of the mixture on the ends since that's where most moisture is lost. Pull hair up into a bun, secure with a hair tie, and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Shampoo, condition, and style as usual. My sister did the Avocado/Mayonaise Baking Soda Treatment as well, and I like that one better. You should try it! Its ridiculous how soft your hair feels when you rinse it out! But this one works wonders also! For the Baking Soda Deep Conditioner I used 1 cup of Parnevue Organic Hair Mayonaise---you can choose whatever conditoiner or deep conditioner you want 1/2 cup Baking Soda Blend Manually or use a Blender Apply Make sure to rinse really good, you can follow it with a co-wash, but I prefer not to because I fear the conditioner will change the effect of the softness the Baking soda treatment gave my hair...I love it! but try the Avocado Treatment..Im goin to link it or video response it to shuantae1 (big sis)..love her..Thanks!

This is a hair mask that I tried and I got to say it has made difference to my hair. It feels softer and shinier!!!!! I have yet to try a different recipe for dandruff conditions but for now I have to share this avocado hair mask with you all. The hair mask smells amazing and gives wonderful results. I can't believe it never occured me to use hair masks on my hair until now. Im always a firm believer of natural remedies so I took it up a notch. You will only need 1 half of an avocado for the hair mask and for the other half; simply mash it up (mix honey, yogurt etc) and apply it as a soothing face mask. Avocado is rich in beneficial oils good for our skin, body and health which is why some cultures call the fruit 'Green Gold'. Its not only delicious as a healthy treat but also to our hair and skin. The mask has enough for 2 applications. I highly reccomend you guys to experiment in your own time and find the ingredients that suit you.
