Ray Conniff - You are the sunshine of my life

YOU ARE THE SUNSHINE OF MY LIFE Album No. 54 1973 You are the sunshine of my life Stevie Wonder Ray Conniff Lyrics: You are the sunshine of my life, yeah. That´s why I´ll always be around. You are the apple of my eye, yeah. Forever you'll stay in my heart. I feel like this is the begining. ´though I´ve loved you for a million years, yeah. And if I thought our love was ending. I´d find myself drowning in my own tears. Whoa, whoa, whoa. You are the sunshine of my life, yeah. That´s why I´ll always be around. You are the apple of my eye, yeah. Forever you'll stay in my heart. You must have known that I was lonely. Because you came to my rescue. Whoa, whoa! And I know that this must be Heaven. How could so much love be inside of you? Whoa, whoa, whoa! Whoa! You are the sunshine of my life, yeah. That´s why I´ll always be around. You are the apple of my eye, yeah. Forever you'll stay in my heart. You are the sunshine of my life, yeah. That´s why I´ll always be around. You are the apple of my eye, yeah. Forever you'll stay in my heart...

Ray Conniff - She believes in me

1979, She believes in me, Ray Conniff... Lyrics: She Believes In Me While she lays sleeping I stay out late at night and play my songs And sometimes, all the nights can be so long And it's good, when I finally make it home All alone while she lays dreaming I try to get undressed without the light Then, quietly, she says, how was your night? And I come to her and say, it was alright And then I hold her tight And she believes in me I´ll never know just what she sees in me I told her, someday, if she was my girl I could change the world with my little songs Trying was wrong But she has faith in me And so I go on trying faith for me And who knows, maybe, on some special night If my song is right, I will find the way -- find the way. While she lays waiting I stumble to the kitchen for a bite Then I see my old guitar in the night Just waiting for me like a secret friend And there´s no end while she lays crying I fumble with the melody or tune Then, I torn between the things that I should do Then she says to wake her up when I´m through God in love, itts true And she believes in me I´ll never know just what she sees in me I told her, someday, if she was my girl I could change the world with my little songs Trying was wrong But she has faith in me And so I go on trying faith for me And who knows, maybe, on some special night If my song is right, I will find the way While she waits for me, while she waits for me. While she waits for me, while she waits for me.
Ray Conniff - Unchained Melody

Ray Conniff : a name synonym to superb arranging, superb performing and just simply .....superb music. His style of music making - using male and female voices as additional "instruments" and combine them with the brass and other elements of the orchestra - was (and still is) unique. Ray Conniff's music remains popular up to this day around the globe. Here Conniff applies his typical arrangement style to a song that definitely must be in the "top 5" of "most recorded songs of all time" : "Unchained melody". At this moment, more than 550 different versions of the song exist - the most well known being that of the Righteous Brothers released in 1965. (The song was published 10 years earlier by soundtrack composer Alex North for a film called "Unchained") The song once again became a hit in 1990, after it's appearance in the romantic movie "Ghost" which starred Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. More recently (2006) Barry Manilow and the male singer group Il Divo included the song on one of their albums. Here now from the 1997 album "I love movies" are Ray Conniff, His Orchestra and Singers with their fabulous interpretation of this well known evergreen. Enjoy !

Ray Conniff - Here today and gone tomorrow

Harmony, Album No. 53 1973 "Here today and gone tomorrow" Letra y música de Ray Conniff Lyrics: I came to you in dark despair I needed someone who would care. You held me close against your heart I felt a warmth right from the start. Then one day He took you away Why did it happen, who can say? Now all that there is left for me Is just a precious memory. That's life, that's life You take the joy, you take the sorrow. That's life, that's life You're here today and gone tomorrow. My life has crumbled since you've gone But somehow I must carry on. The pain I feel I can't describe. I can't forget you, though I've tried. Each night I say a little prayer That when He takes me you'll be there. Together once again we'll be I'll live again my memory. That's life, that's life You take the joy, you take the sorrow. That's life, that's life You're here today and gone tomorrow. That's life, that's life You take the joy, you take the sorrow. That's life, that's life You're here today and gone tomorrow.

Lyrics: AFTER THE LOVIN' So, l sing you to sleep after the lovin' With the song I just wrote yesterday And I hope you can hear What the words and the music have to say. It´s so hard to explain everything that I'm feeling Face to face I just seem to go try But l love you so much That the sound of your voice can get me high. Thanks for taking me on a one way trip to the sun And thanks for turning me into a someone So, I sing you to sleep after the lovin' And I brush back the hair from your eyes And the love on your face is so real That it makes me want to cry. Ray Conniff - If You Leave Me Now

Album No. 71 1976 After the lovin' "If you leave me now" Ray Conniff Lyrics: If you leave me now, you'll take away the biggest part of me Ooh, Ooh, Ooh, no, baby, please, don't go And if you leave me now, you'll take away the very part of me Ooh, Ooh, Ooh, no, baby, please, don't go Ooh, Ooh, Ooh, girl, I just want you to stay. A love like ours is love that's hard to find How could we let it slip away? We've come too far to leave it all behind How could we end it all this way? When tomorrow comes and we'll both regret The things we said today (Instrumental break) A love like ours is love that's hard to find Why should we leave it all behind? When tomorrow comes and we'll both regret The things we said today If you leave me now, you'll take away the biggest part of me Ooh, Ooh, Ooh, no baby, please, don't go! And if you leave me now, you'll take away the very part of me Ooh, Ooh, Ooh, no baby, please, don't go! Ooh, Ooh, Ooh, no baby, please, don't go!

THE WAY YOU LOOK TONIGHT LYRICS ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Some day, when I'm awfully low, When the world is cold, I will feel a glow just thinking of you And the way you look tonight. You're lovely, with your smile so warm And your cheeks so soft, There is nothing for me but to love you, And the way you look tonight. With each word your tenderness grows, Tearing my fears apart And that laugh that wrinkles your nose, Touches my foolish heart. Yes you're lovely, never, ever change Keep that breathless charm. Won't you please arrange it? 'Cause I love you Just the way you look tonight. Just the way you look tonight.
