2012 BMW 6-Series Coupe revealed
BMW has unveiled the 6-Series coupe, ahead of its debut at Auto Shanghai 2011. Designed to be the ultimate "dream car," the coupe features a "shark nose" front-end with bi-xenon headlights and a forward-slanting grille. Further back, the profile boasts frameless windows, chrome accents, and a C-pillar with the distinctive Hofmeister kink. Lastly, in the rear, there's a dual exhaust system, LED tail lights, and a trunk lid with an integrated spoiler. Inside, the cabin is awash with high quality materials and premium amenities. Highlights include Dakota leather seats, high-gloss black trim (brushed aluminum and wood trim are also available), a freestanding 7-inch iDrive display and a spacious boot which can hold up to 460 liters (16.24 cubic feet) of luggage. On the options list, customers can order heated / ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, and GPS navigation with an upgraded 10.2-inch display. In the tech department, the car offers a head-up display, a rear-view camera, night vision assist (with pedestrian recognition), parking assist, and a lane departure / lane change warning system. At launch, two engines will be available. The 640i features a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six that develops 315 hp (235 kW / 320 PS) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. When paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission, the car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). Despite the impressive performance, the <b>...</b>

About two weeks before the wrecking ball was about to completely demolish our old Hyundai Motor America headquarters building in Fountain Valley, California, we had a crazy thought: Wouldn't it be cool to do something outrageous inside the building before all the walls finally came down? Actually, it was Dustin Loranger, one of our Service Technicians, who had the idea...and we loved it. Why not put Rhys Millen, his Genesis Coupe drift car, and our abandoned HQ together for a unique drift demonstration in a unique industrial setting? Rhys was up for the challenge, and remarkably, so were our lawyers, so we put this thing together, with tongue (and donut) firmly planted in cheek. We think the video does a pretty good job showcasing Rhys' car control skills, the sweetness of the Genesis Coupe drift car, and the reason why Hollywood probably doesn't have to worry, just yet, about this cast and crew. ;) How'd we do?

Nurburgring Lap 1M Coupe vs CSL
A lap with a Bmw 1M Coupe on the Nurburgring. The car was awesome and no problems whatsoever. BTG lap time was 8.15 with traffic and i also needed to back off throttle for an accident in the last part. Without traffic and the accident under 8 min BTG is possible. I am following a CSL. Which is a nurburgring track day car. CSL has a cage, big brakes, lightweight exhaust and race seats en runs on pilotsport cup tires. The 1M coupe was completely off factory. I was amazed how well this 1M coupe runs on the Nurburgring. Driver: Andre de Vries.

2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe - design analysis with Michael Mauer
High-res photos: Porsche has unveiled the 2012 911 (991) at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Built to usher in a new era of performance, the model has an evolutionary design that is instantly recognizable. Déjà vu aside, the car has a wider track and a wheelbase that has been stretched 100mm (3.9 inches). Inside, the cabin is significantly improved with higher quality materials and a design that mimics the Panamera. Notable highlights include a sloping center console, additional trim and updated switchgear. The entry-level Carrera has a 350 PS (257 kW / 345 hp) 3.4-liter engine which enables it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds (4.2 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono Package) and hit a top speed of 179 mph (288 km/h). On the other hand, the Carrera S features a 3.8-liter engine with 400 PS (294 kW / 394 hp). It dashes from 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds (3.9 seconds with the SC package) and tops out at 188 mph (302 km/h). The 2012 Porsche 911 will go on sale later this year and pricing starts at €88038 (£71449 / $82100).

1929 Ford Coupe Hot Rod ~ Running Day 1
So the first day off the trailer we took out the car and it died on us leaving us stranded. Started troubleshooting with the builder and found out it wasn't getting spark. Tracing wires we found that the ballast resistor wire had been pulled out of the spade connector. Simple fix so we're back up and running. More videos to come.
