One of the many gun exercises the Cole conducted in the beginning of their 2003-2004 deployment to the Mediterranean. Preceding this was a drill using the CIWS Block 1B, which is capable of engaging surface targets. Weapons involved were the Mk38 in 25mm, the M2 in .50 cal and the M60 and Mk44 in 7.62mm.

This is a demo for the Commodore 64. It contains a picture and digitized music (original Song: Sabrina - Boys). The demo was made by DDG (Digitize Design Group). The sound is quite good for the C64. The little background noise is because the sound volume of the demo is very low so the noise gets amplified if the volume is turned up. From 3:00 I tested the special effects which can be triggered by pressing restore. I ran the demo on my real C64 and recorded the output with my TV card - NO emulator was used ! Iranian frigate Alvand (Persian: الوند), a British-made Vosper Mark V class frigate (also known as Alvand class frigate), was commissioned in 1971 as part of a four-ship order and is the lead ship of the class and flagship of the Iranian Navy. This took place April 13th, 2010 onboard USS Stethem (DDG 63) off the coast of Okinawa. We fired 2 SM-2's at two target drones while also shooting a VLA. In the background, you can hear one Vertical Launched ASROC being launched, followed by a SM-2 surface to air missile. While the camera is still focused on the aft VLS launcher, you can hear 6 rounds of 5"/54 being fired at the target drones flying inbound. Toward the end, you can hear the aft salvo alarm go off, then you see one hatch open up and a second SM-2 missile launch and accelerate to MACH 2+ in seconds. The missile is already supersonic before it completely leaves the launcher.
