The third of the four group studies I'm doing for Harry Potter. Started: 03/23/10 Finished: 05/14/10 Storyline: A group of dark wizards and witches who sided with Lord Voldemort and fought against the Ministry during the First and Second Wizarding Wars. They wore black hoods with eye slits and each had a Dark Mark burned onto their forearm to connect with their leader. When Voldemort disappeared during the First Wizarding War due to the attack at Potter's house, the Death Eaters dispersed and fell into chaos. Most of them were rounded up by Aurors, but some were able to elude justice and rise up when Voldemort called them into command at the beginning of the Second Wizarding War. Their appearance was changed during the Second Wizarding War to masks and darker robes. They wreaked more chaos during the Second Wizarding War, killing many people (including Albus Dumbledore) and destroying buildings as well as Diagon Alley. They were able to take over the Ministry after killing Minister of Magic, Rufus Scrimegeour. With the Death Eaters in control of the Ministry, they were able to make a Muggle-Born Registration Commission to rid the world of what Slytherin believed to be "unworthy to study magic". One of the most known Death Eaters, Severus Snape, was said to be a spy for Voldemort, but helped Harry in the end, betraying his Death Eater allies and becoming the true spy of Dumbledore's. The Death Eaters ended up loosing the Battle of Hogwarts, most were sent to Azkaban but <b>...</b>

Haha ok so I've been on a major Harry Potter high after seeing the 7th film (part 1)- I've been re-watching films 1 -6 like crazy and decided I wanted to have some fun :) This is Bellatrix's Death Eater mask, and I thought it was simply gorgeous. I will say this isn't completely accurate, only because I couldn't even figure out what completely accurate was haha. There are display masks of her that have certain designs, while others that are sold for costuming tend to be a little different. So for now I'll just say it's an inspired look ^_^ I also tried to mess with my hair a little to resemble Bella's, but I guess you just can't get hair that awesome unless you're Helena Bonham Carter X) One thing I will say. The fact that the mask is so intricately symmetrical drove me crazy. :) Getting the lines to look even was a challenge and a half - but hopefully the mistakes are minor and thus not too noticeable ;) Anyway! Very fun! Hope fellow HP lovers out there can enjoy! This video is about the darkest wizards of HP - everyone loves the bad guys :) Music - Hard Rock Scary Hip Hop Update: Okay, I once commented on the fact why I included Sirius or Narcissa in my vid though they aren't Deatheaters. The vid portrays Ancient families and their secrets, so I included Sirius as well. He ran away from his family at teenage years, he was charged with murder , he was considered to be a homicidal maniac and Voldemort supporter by the whole wizarding world , forced to live like an outcast in secrecy until his death. So there are many dark things shrouding this brave and loyal man ,of course we know the thruth :) Why I included Narcissa. She was raised as a pure-blood, she married a pure-blood who joined Tom Riddle and became a Death Eater, because he believed in blood purity and Voldemort's theories of dominating Muggles. So, she supported her husband and became as prejudiced as Lucius. However, we know how she changed her views simply because she loved her son and husband who were both in real danger while serving the Dark Lord. I've literally just got back from my holiday! I had way too much time to vid while on holiday due to typical english summer rain :'( but I managed to make two videos in one week :D YAYY Anyway, I've wanted to make a dark Harry vid for a while and I finally had the inspiration :) I dedicate this to the sehrbesessen sisters for suggesting such a thing ;D Anyhoo, the storyline is... Harry's family are even snidier and crueler than before and he finally loses it. So much that his magic goes CRAZY and he kills them :o Harry gets arrested and relies on Dumbledore for help, but the old coot tells him there's nothing he can do so he gets trialled and sent to Azkaban for mur-diddly-urder. None of his friends try to help him because they think he's dangerous. After spending some long weeks in Azkaban, Harry wakes up to the sound of an explosion. It turns out there was a breakout, but he doesn't know what to do. Then Lucius Malfoy arrives at his prison door and asks him to join the dark so as to get his revenge on the people who left him to rot; Harry agrees, thus starting a dark Harry! When he has donoe it, he sends the body back to Hogwarts so that everybody sees that he belongs to Voldemorts people now. Still his best friends don´t give up on him.
