The new Mercedes Benz Zetros all terrain vehicle - Unimog XXL - extreme off road truck

Music: Marcus Vetter, vetterton, myspace.com/vetterton The new Mercedes Benz Zetros The new off-road truck for extreme operations and all terrains. Visit www.special-trucks.eu Some facts of the military version: Daimler AG launched its new off-road truck, the Mercedes-Benz Zetros, at this year's International Defence Exhibition Eurosatory 2008 in Paris. Zetros will be offered in a three-axle cab-behind-engine truck version (Zetros 2733 A 6x6) and a two-axle version (Zetros 1833 A 4x4). The three-axle model offers payloads from 7 tonnes to 10 tonnes, while the two-axle model has payloads of 4 tonnes to 6 tonnes. The extreme off-road capability of the Zetros all-wheel-drive truck is unique in this segment, including especially its tactical and strategic mobility (air and rail transportability). The novel approach of a cab-behind-engine truck with its low design height and its centre of gravity behind the front axle provides an ideal platform for armoured versions capable of withstanding mines and ballistic attack. According to Mercedes, its Daimler's concept for the new off-road, all-wheel-drive truck series offers a number of key advantages over comparable vehicles currently available on the market. The new vehicle concept is primarily based on standard production line, all-wheel-drive components from the Axor/Actros series that have proven themselves on assignments worldwide and have been modified for off-road use, combined with an innovative cab module. Beriev 200-BE200 FIRE FIGHTER!!

THE Russian fire fighter aircraft Be200...demo video!...it can transport 10 tons of water!!!The Beriev Be-200 Altair is a multipurpose amphibious aircraft designed by the Beriev Aircraft Company and manufactured by Irkut. Marketed as being designed for fire fighting, search and rescue, maritime patrol, cargo and passenger transportation, it has a capacity of 12 tonnes (12000 litres) of water, or up to 72 passengers.[1] The name Altair was chosen after a competition amongst Beriev and Irkut staff in 2002/2003. The name Altair was chosen as it is not only the name of the alpha star in the Eagle constellation, but also because "Al" is the first part of the name of the A-40 amphibious aircraft Albatross, whose layout was the development basis for the creation of the Be-200, "ta" stands for Taganrog, and "ir" stands for Irkutsk.[2]The Be-200 was designed by the Berieva Aviatsionnyi Kompaniya (Beriev Aviation Company), with the Russian Irkutsk Aircraft Production Association (now part of the Irkut Corporation). Beriev are responsible for development, design and documentation; systems-, static-, flight- and fatigue-testing of prototypes; certification and support of the production models. Irkut's duties comprise production preparation; manufacture of tooling; production of four prototypes and production aircraft; and spare parts manufacture.[3] Both companies now fall under the umbrella of the state-owned United Aircraft Corporation. RAMIN HAERIZADEH, ROKNI HAERIZADEH, BITA FAYYAZI AT THADDEUS ROPAC, PARIS ايران Part (10)

The title of this exhibition Be Crowned with Laurel in Oblivion, comes from Allen Ginsberg's 1956 poem Howl. The poem, one of the seminal works of the Beat Generation, presents a version of the American Dream gone wrong, wonderful young minds with endless opportunities becoming overwhelmed and self-destructing because of the mainstream "machine". The Haerizadeh brothers and Bita Fayyazi transpose the anger embedded in this prose into the concealed reality of daily life in the disjointed state of Iran. The works of Rokni and Ramin Haerizadeh are linked by several unifying elements. These include an underlying irony, the creation of phantasmagorical worlds, and the spirit to highlight controversial aspects of the Iranian regime. These attributes have made Rokni and Ramin, known both individually and together, two of the most engaging and exciting artists of Iranian art. Rokni Haerizadeh makes it easy to become caught up in an exaggerated almost dreamlike world with his use of vibrant colours and often the sheer size of his paintings. These representations however are strangely realistic in their depictions of daily life in the Islamic Republic of Iran and it is the nuances of each piece that truly underline his views. In this exhibition especially, he conveys discord. For example in Oh Victory, you forgot to wear you underwear (Neda), we see cars alight and a hoard of protesters in the street, and in the 15 panel installation, The Pieces Required in Constructing the Whip of ...

Finale of "Imagine the transport of futur" Contest 2011, Paris Airshow - EADS Foundation

The mob-e3 Imagine the transport of the future competition was launched by the EADS Corporate Foundation in 2009 for young people aged 12 to 15. Like real engineers, their mission is to work in groups to design a transport of the future project. From September 2010 to may 2011, they each carefully designe their vehicle. The classes are also invited to visit EADS sites and they keep us informed about the progress of their projects through their blogs. The competition end in June with a prize-giving ceremony at the Paris Air Show. 150 pupils participating to the competition "Mob-e3 Imagine the transport of the future" will discover the prize they won during the international air show at Le Bourget. Before the ceremony, they will have the opportunity to visit EADS stand and exhibition area.

Jean Michel Jarre - Waiting for Cousteau (En Attendant Cousteau)

Playlist - Jean Michel Jarre - Full Albums: www.youtube.com Waiting for Cousteau (French title: En Attendant Cousteau) is the seventh overall studio album by Jean Michel Jarre, released on Disques Dreyfus, licensed to Polydor, in 1990. The album was dedicated to Jacques-Yves Cousteau and was released on his 80th birthday 11 June 1990. The title of the album is a reference to Samuel Beckett's play Waiting for Godot. The album has been acclaimed by critics as one of Jarre's greatest works, due to its extreme stylistic differences from his other albums, especially the title track, which Allmusic describes as "groundbreaking stuff". The album reached Number 9 in the UK charts. The title track is a composition in the ambient style and an edited version of the music he produced for Concert d'Images, an exhibition which contained photographs and selected objects from Jarre's concerts. The original plan was to release the album edit of the track as a promo CD single, but those plans were abandoned. On vinyl and cassette tape the title track was edited to only 22 minutes due to the lack of space on the formats. Jarre utilised the unedited version as an ambient audience "warm-up" in the hours prior to the Paris la Defense concert in 1990 (and also in many concerts after this "first"), played on the specially installed public address sound system scattered throughout Paris for this event. Early promos for the album had the title track named "Cousteau on the Beach", but was renamed ...

Jean Michel Jarre - Waiting for Cousteau (Full Album)
