As you probably saw two vidjas ago that's probably been made clear by now, I am now officially addicted to MLP: FiM. Confound these ponies, ect., ect. So anywho, i've heard of the "DJ Pon-3" thing going on for what seems like months now, and I thought to myself "Hey, why can't there be DJs from other species from the show as well?" As such, I did a thing. Basically, the story behind this dude is he's a rare case among Dimond Dogs: Prefering music to digging for gems. He gets on the nerves of a lot of his fellow kin usually, but he's basically become the only source of entertainment those guys got down there when they're taking that rare break from their gem digging routine. He's even patented his own style of music which he likes to call 'Cavecore', even if some disagree with his choice of name for it. As you can probably tell by just looking at him, he's an usual-looking Diamond Dog, having dyed his hair, fur and tail green and orange (at the tips), and wearing bright orange clothing, as well as two gloves with ruby gemstones in them, which he thinks "helps him perform better." He's a weird case, but one thing's for sure: He's quite a DJ, and his dream is a big one: get out of these mines and perform big in front of thousands on the surface. Second annual Christmas Concert at the Rock and Roll Experience hosted by Mike Woods, and his band Garage Dog! The song I played was Take Me Back, and a big thanks to Garage Dog for helping me learn and practice it before hand as well. I am very grateful to have Mike Woods as a teacher, and it is because of him that I am at the current stage I am (you be the judge by the video). Also, this annual Christmas Concert has made me expand my musical stylings in ways I never though possible, and has done the same for every other student of Mike Woods, not only in playing, but building the confidence to put your best foot forward and taking you to bigger places in your musical journey. The Adventures of Sean and Mike. So here is part two to our trip to Fairbanks, Alaska in the middle of winter. Starts off with us driving to go dog sledding. It was like we were just driving out in the middle of nowhere cause the road seemed non existent. I added music to the dog sledding video because of all the wind noise. Then we went to go see Santa Clause at the North Pole, Alaska. I really had no idea such a place really existed. Crazy all the street lights and poles were candy canes. That was cool. Santa was on vacation since it was just after Christmas and all. We got in his chair and took a couple of photos. Then off to Skiland which is the northern most ski resort in the world. So yea we are more of sun and beach guys than snow and skiing. Green trails are bout all we can do. Well our green trail turned into a black diamond trail and we had to get down. It was scary looking at it. We couldnt see the bottom from the top. So we made it down the best we could. The only way we could stop was to fall down, which meant whip outs! It took us forever to get down that trail ha ha. Then a couple of bloopers. Finally some photos of the northern lights. Now I know why there arent too many videos of them on youtube. They are almost impossible to film. We had a blast. It was so cold in Fairbanks thou, and we looked forwarded to getting home to warm Texas. Not so warm when we got back. He strongly believed Politics, Religion and Greed to be factors that if misused or misinterpreted, would mainly serve to separate us from one another. A majority of the world dreams of peace. But it may not be realistic to expect this dream to globally come true in our lifetime, or even in any foreseeable future. However, if not at a global level, this dream can realistically be achieved at an individual level. We can all strive to achieve peace of mind within ourselves. One of my mom's friends owns an eight-year-old, purebred Boxer who, as you can tell, didn't grow past that size. Her name is Zoe, and before you say something like, "She's not a purebred Boxer," she must have been bought from a backyard breeder. Backyard breeders don't have a clear goal in mind for what the next generation of puppies is to be. As long as they can just make money off of their dogs in the quickest and easiest way possible, they feel fine. Therefore, you can end up with anything possible if you buy from one. And believe it or not, due to irresponsible breeding and the (responsible) breeding of different bloodlines, there may be more verity within the individuals in a specific breed than there may be between two different breeds, even if the breeds aren't all that similar. Because backyard breeders are more interested in money, they are NOT the best place to look for a dog! As far as I know, Zoe wasn't suffering from any health issues during the time I took that video. However, health and temperament problems are quite common in poorly bred dogs. A responsible breeder of Boxers is certainly going to have a clear goal to breed to. Some will breed to a standard set by a kennel club and some may stray a bit from the kennel club standards and create their own bloodline. Nevertheless, responsible breeders always have positive breeding goals in mind, and breed for the best health, temperament, and (depending upon their breeding goals) conformation. In 1976 Marvin Gayes marriage was about to collapse. He was also just about to be imprisoned because of non-paid child-support to his wife Anna. Reputedly Motown bailed Marvin out and he was suggested to leave US for a some time. Promoter Jeffrey Kruger arranged a European tour to start up in September 1976 and it also included a long waited visit to England for the first time in ten years. This concert in question was held in 10th October before sell-out audience in Edenhall concert hall Amsterdam. The track listing is pretty much identical compared to the Album "Marvin Gaye - Live At The London Palladium!" which was recorded on the same tour seven days earlier. Only songs missing are "Trouble Man" and "God is Love". All the other tracks are exactly (although in different order) the same as on this DVD, even including the content of medleys. These Medleys are actually one of the biggest problems in this concert. In a way the whole concert is one gigantic medley, while atleast what I was expecting, were the full versions of the songs. If compared to the performances in the "Live in Montreux" DVD this concert feels pretty boring. Marvin himself explained the reason for these medleys in Sharon Davis´ biography book like this; "I got a list of songs from my promoter. He told me all the tracks that were popular in England and I just put them into medley form for few minutes because I hadn´t done them in years. During their tours in 1974, Pink Floyd played three new songs in the first half of the shows, followed by The Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety. Those three new songs were "You Gotta Be Crazy" (which would later become "Dogs"), "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" and "Raving And Drooling" (which would later become "Sheep"). During performances of "Raving And Drooling", a recording of a DJ at BBC Radio called Jimmy Young was played after being cut up and reassembled randomly. This was Roger Waters' idea of a man "raving and drooling" (or being insane). The lyrics of the song at this point were quite different from the ones that were to become "Sheep" . "Raving and Drooling" was originally a more jam-based song, containing fewer lyrics. Both "You Gotta Be Crazy" and "Raving And Drooling" were originally planned to be on the album following the tour (Wish You Were Here), but the plans were changed and they both ended up in different forms on Animals. In live versions from 1977, backing guitarist Snowy White played bass guitar as Roger Waters shared electric guitar duties with David Gilmour. The performance was almost identical to the album version except that after the ending it would give way to a slower ending with Richard Wright playing an organ solo. On March 12, Sergio Gabriel Martinez will climb through the ropes to face Sergiy Dzinziruk in a middleweight clash, which according to boxrec.com will be for the "vacant WBC Diamond Middleweight Title." This is because in choosing to face Dzinziruk, Martinez gave the WBC an opportunity to strip him of his title and give it to German fringe contender Sebastain Zbik. The "Diamond Championship" is a farce and a monstrosity, little more than a trophy granted to the winner of a historic fight between two prominent boxers that allows greedy old Jose Suleiman to collect another sanctioning fee (which Martinez is hopefully refusing to pay). Yet even though no title worthy of the name is at stake, this is a fight of substance because Martinez remains the top dog of the middleweight division in the hearts and minds of boxing fans everywhere. His opponent, Sergiy Dzinziruk, is an undefeated junior middleweight champion, and therefore no slouch either.
