This is my translation of the song "Anéantir le Dogme" (Annihilate the dogma) by Les Vulgaires Machins. My translation uses more common words than the original, that's what I have been able to do. I translated into "manishry" the Quebec French word "hommerie" which literally means "man-ness" or "man-ry". I added the "-ish" to convey the negative connotation of the French word, tell me if you think another word would be preferable and if I consider that the change would considerably improve the translation I shall make a second version. "Hommerie" usually describes human behaviours that are 1. Typical of humans, both in that no other animal do them and in that it is common to humanity in general, and 2. Stupid, self-destructive, or based more on crowd mentality than on intelligence. I also included in parentheses the titles of the politicians that might be less known outside Canada and Quebec. I did this translation without any right to do it, if it matters that I help sharing the message of a video that is already on Youtube, I will remove it on the spot. For additional contextual information, the actress in the video, Noémie Yelle, is never seen in this type of sexual context, on the contrary she is more associated with child and young teenagers shows playing rather young girls herself. This non-sequitur of image is the exact feeling that was tried to be conveyed: girls so young that they're basically children whoring themselves out. All comments concerning what the <b>...</b>

7 AM - DOGME Film, Shot and Edited in camera. 16mm Bolex Camera updated with music
Shot in 1999. This is a 16mm film shot in the Dogma style - no lighting, no tripod, and all edited in the camera by starting and stopping the camera at the right moment (thus the flash frames at each cut). The whole thing was shot as part of the IFCO 24 hour Dogma challenge. It took a lot of planning and switching of locations and I am very happy with the results although originally there was one more scene needed to complete it. Unfortunately I ran out of film....but I actually like the ending after watching it a few times. This is an excellent exercise for people interested learning how to shoot and plan a film shoot. I hope you all enjoy it. Cheers The original film had no sound since my 16mm Bolex has no way to record the sound. This is a updated version with a sound track that was added alter to make it more interesting to watch. Dogme Project with music
This was a school project where we make a Dogme film, which has no tripod, all handheld, no lighting, no props, no nondiegetic music, etc. The idea behind it is basically just have camera, will make movie. I did actually add some music in at the very end over the credits just because I liked it better, but I made two versions and one is the traditional with no sound. Because of the no lighting issue and the filming outside issue, it is hard to see, so I boosted the brightness, which made it grainy, which is normally a no-no, but with dogme, I think the rougher the better anyway, it is more raw and authentic. The editing style is very off the cuff and sort of strange and half the time I see this I dont like it, but the other half I really do, so it is really dependent on your mood I think. This stars the fabulous Amber Hurd, Rachael Rogers, and Dru Silva. Seriously, these guys are soo good, they really made the project, so I hope everyone likes it!

One of my later films at college. This was a group project with Mitch and Ludford. Partially written, directed and edited by all 3 of us. The brief was to make a film using the film style of Dogme 95 The plot: A man accidentally runs over a jogger and notices he finds an odd liking to it

Kort Historie: Vesterbros egen CAS er, efter at have smidt albummet "Velkommen Til Vrangsiden" på gaden i 2006 og suppleret dette op med en række videos og heftig promo, nu tilbage med en sidste musikvideo fra pladen for at runde af med stil. Musikvideoen til tracket "En ny dag" er lavet "dogme-stilo" dvs. den er skudt over 2 dage i træk hvor "dag 1" udspiller sig til en fest hvor 70 piger og 30 homies, CAS inklusiv, drikker sig i hegnet og fyrer den godt af med 35 liter vodka, 40 liter fortynder, 25 kilo is på isboks + "alt det løse". Og "dag 2" udspiller sig "dagen derpå" til opvågning, oprydning og seriøse tømmermænd, i en homies lejlighed på Vebro! Den druk du ser er real, den fest du ser er real og de tømmermænd og den oprydning der foregår er også i særdeleshed real!!! Kun enkle scener er "sat op" i denne musikvideo for at få det hele til at "flowe" bedre men helheden er lavet "dogme-stilo", som vi har valgt at kalde det, idet at konceptet i videoen læner sig op af genren "dogme" på mange punkter....
