I was a young 20 year old dj in Montreal and I still remember when that album came out, we were waiting for it, the owner of the record store told us that the album should arrive in his store the following day, I just couldn't wait to get my hands on it, and to play it at the venue I was spinning at. Man, was I glad when I got it, I was not disappointed, what a track, When we got to the club before it opened, my friend and I went to the middle of the dancefloor and we listened to the whole album very loud, Wow, I couldn't believe how good the album was. I played Try Me three times that evening, people were asking if that was the new Donna Summer, what a rush that was, Donna summer went on and carried me and many of us on her musical shoulders for the following 20 years, and for this Miss Summer I wish to thank you so much, you will never be replaced, that voice, that era was yours.
