Subaru Rally Team USA driver Travis Pastrana and his co-driver Christian Edstrom overcame treacherously icy conditions to take a dominating win at the 2010 Sno*Drift Rally, round one of the 2010 Rally America National Championship. Pastrana, the defending four-time Rally America National Champion, won by over one minute and thirty seconds driving an open class rally specification 2010 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. In an amazing show of determination and grit, Pastrana completed the event nursing an extremely sore collarbone which he broke in a motocross accident less than a week ago. His Subaru Rally Team USA teammate, BMX legend turned rally pro Dave Mirra, finished 6th overall with co-driver Derek Ringer.

After competing in varying levels of competition throughout the year, the most talented autocrossers in the country took it to the next level at the 39th Annual SCCA Solo Nationals Championships. In its third consecutive year, Lincoln Airpark in Lincoln, Nebraska played host to the single largest motorsports competition in the world. The four-day, precision-driving event saw more than 1100 competitors in 74 different classes battle to be crowned National Champion. The competition started shortly after a major rainstorm had dropped several inches of water on the massive site but after Tuesday things got hot and stayed hot with temperatures in the 90's. While few obtain individual glory, the sheer dynamics of the event are a large draw for many competitors. Every year something new contributes to the indescribable atmosphere -- this year just happened to be a wedding!

In January I went to a huge Ferrari event called Cavallino in southern Florida. At the end of the show I figured all the race cars would be loaded onto flat beds and taken home. To my amazement they drove them out of the event! The trailers they were driving to were located a few miles away from the show so I could hear the FXX being driven across the town which was very cool. Enjoy!

I don't know who got this crazy idea to race NASCAR on Nürburgring Nordschleife; nonetheless I tried 4 times to figure out how to win. BTW, this event will end at January 13, 2011. Before entering the event, make sure: 1) You have a NASCAR, anyone will do; 2) The car's power output must be reduced to 850BHP (or under) to meet the limit; (Drive it on INDY 5-Lap event (Extreme Series) several times will do the job.) 3) Driving an un-tuned car would mostly guarantee your failure, unless you enjoy the pain that is... 4) And make sure you know the Ring very well if you want Gold finish. Like the Special Events, the rewards can be only gained once. You need to control the throttle very well at low speed, or otherwise the car will spin out due to too much power. I got to have a look at this beautiful facelifted E93 BMW 325i convertible at the recent BMW Innovation Day at Batu Kawan Stadium in Penang. Me and my dad were in this car as well as the 335i Coupe. I would say the 335i Coupe is the sweeter car, but I didn't get a chance to film that, so this was the only car I could film at that event. The Z4 sDrive35is and 135i Coupe that were in my previous videos were also the cars in the convoy for this event. This was my first time in a convertible on a highway, and also my first time DRIVING a convertible on the highway. The experience was awesome!

After more than a year and a half my car is back together and on the road. This time I'm driving the car to Jenks, OK. for a meetup with other members from the Oklahoma Delorean Owners group. I also brought my wife along for the trip. Believe it or not, in the 5 years I've had this car, she has never really gone on a trip with me in it. For this event, I decided to go with the Mr Fusion upgrade. Didn't have enough time to fully paint it up, but no one even noticed :) Sadly, I didn't have a beer can, but I did have a fake banana. Also put in my new overhead display with random lighting. I LOVE how that turned out. LONG BEACH, CA The inaugural event in the 2010 Formula Drift season began with a big win for Team Falken where factory driver Vaughn Gittin, Jr., debuting his new 2011 Monster Energy Falken Tire 2011 Ford Mustang on the famed street course of Long Beach. Gittin, Jr., and Team Falken faced a very competitive field of entrants, totaling 53, one of the highest entry counts in the history of Formula D. Team Falken had a full complement of drivers at the popular track, the fifth year Formula D has visited Long Beach. In addition to Vaughn, rounding out the companys paddock and marketing activation areas were returning team members Daijiro Yoshihara in his rebuilt Discount Tire Nissan 240SX (S13); Tyler McQuarrie with his Nissan 350Z Convertible; and Darren McNamara, with his Saturn Sky in new Falken livery. Adding to the excitement of the weekend was the addition of several new faces to Falken including Justin Pawlak in his 2010 Ford Mustang and Formula D rookie James Deane who shocked the crowd with his aggressive driving in Falken's Nissan S15. Independent drivers on Falken Tires included Ross Petty, John Russakoff, Dean Kearney and Fredric Aasbo. 2010 will certainly be a busy year for Team Falken. Next stop, Road Atlanta.

This is the first time I've ever witnessed an accident at a speed ventures autocross. It was a pretty fast track and it was his first time up since his last break so the tires were pretty cold & so was the track. The driver was shaken up quite a bit, but he walked away.
