I've received the video from Totalcarconcept.com of the dynorun! The Switzer P800 kit turns the GT-R in to a 800 HP monster. With a few PSi more boost the 840 HP is no problem. They have 98 and 100 octaan fuels. The AMS sportcats are much bigger and give good power, also with sportcat! heffnersperformance.com After several long months of development we have completed our twin turbo Murcielago. As of August 2009 we have tuned the car up to 1 bar of boost which resulted in just over 1100 RWHP. For now we are playing around with the car at various boost levels and documenting the differences in performance with our trusty V Box. In 90 degree heat the car pulled off a 5.10 second 60-130 at around 950 RWHP. For reference a stock 580 horsepower Murcielago takes around 9.5 seconds to make the leap from 60 to 130. With a little more boost it will dip into the 4 second range for sure. The Heffner Twin Turbo Murcielago is an absolute blast to drive and sounds like nothing we have ever heard. Here's a video clip I created for Street Machine magazine. It was taken at Summernats 19, an Australian Street Machine show The car is a twin turbocharged LS1powered HSV R8 Clubsport (based off the Holden Commodore platform) that makes around 1200-1300hp at the rear wheels. On this particular run it popped out an injector o-ring and sprayed the engine bay with fuel. You can imagine what happens next.

2010 and 2011 ZX10r's dyno tested against a 2010 BMW S1000rr on the same day on the same dyno. All bikes were 100% mechanically stock. The 2011 ZX10r may have be limited by low km electronics. We just ran the bikes and this is what we got.

A local '94 Supra came by DST Motorsports for a few dyno runs, both low and high boost passes. On the high boost setting this monster managed just shy of 1100whp and still spinning the tires on the dyno, leaving a nice dusting of rubber behind the roller! When the Fire Brigade or the RSPCA cant help who do you call? Dyno-Rod of course! Yesterday Dyno-Rod took a call from a very distressed lady from North London saying Please help me, I dont know what to do, the fire brigade are here and they cant do it. The call was taken by Emma in the Wembley offices who calmed the lady down and managed to establish that a week old puppy had accidentally been flushed down the toilet and was now stuck in the drains. The Fire Brigade and the RSPCA had been on site for around 3 hours but they could not rescue the tiny puppy so of course the next thing to do was to call Dyno Rod for help. Local Dyno Rod Operations Manager, Mark, soon took charge of the rescue operation. Quick thinking Mark, suggested that Dyno Rods CCTV technology could be used to find out exactly where the puppy was stuck within the drainage system and that the neighbours needed to be told not to flush any toilets to ensure the puppy wasnt flushed into the main sewer. The lady was very concerned said Mark she was worried about the puppy and about the cost of the rescue. Mark was able to reassure her that there would not be a charge from Dyno Rod. All we were concerned about was getting the puppy out alive he added. The puppy has now been checked over by the local vet and remarkably is unhurt and recovering well. As a tribute to the rescue team he has been named Dyno! Dyno-Rod engineer Will Craig was at the scene a few minutes later to put the plan into action. CCTV was used <b>...</b>

They tested the engine in a Caterham Super 7. It makes 306 wheel horsepower, about 375 flywheel horsepower; Its ONLY a 2.6 Liter engine, and the engine rev's all the way to 10500 rpm ! they also have a 2.8 Liter version that is even more astounding, the 2.8L makes 400 horsepower and 245 ft-lbs torque. I did some engine work to this lovely 1066 and this is the dyno test that I always do to bring the tractor up to operating temperature and maximum Horsepower to check everything over for operation, and for leaks. It is at stock fuel delivery setting and pulled 145 HP. When looking at the dial on the dyno, look at the HIGH scale which are the smaller numbers. The dyno is more accurate using the high scale at higher ratings. Thanks, and enjoy!!
