BMW Press release: The new BMW straight-six will further expand the K-Series in the foreseeable future. The first model to be introduced will be an innovative and luxurious BMW touring machine. Reflecting the tradition of the BMW K-Series, this will of course be a genuine top-of-the-line product. Highly compact and dynamic six-cylinder. The starting point for this dynamic introduction of the straight-six in the new Concept 6 from BMW Motorrad is of course the extremely compact form and configuration of the engine. The power unit is approximately 100 mm or 4" slimmer than all former straight-six production engines and only a bit wider than a large-capacity straight-four with conventional technology. The reduction in width is achieved in particular by the slightly over-square bore: stroke ratio with relatively long stroke and very small gaps between cylinders. To achieve this very compact configuration with minimum width, the electrical ancillaries and their drive components are positioned behind the crankshaft in the open space above the transmission. High-tech lightweight construction in all areas serves to make the power unit relatively light from the outset, important components in this context being the two hollow-drilled camshafts and the very light connecting rods. MV Agusta F3 Triple at EICMA 2010
Thankfully MV Agusta has survived its transfer back into Italian hands after Harley-Davidson relinquished all interests in 2010, otherwise this beautiful new three-cylinder sportbike might not have survived, itself. Powered by an all-new 675cc engine claimed to produce 137 horsepower, the F3 as it is called, goes straight after Triumph and its Triples.

L'officina milanese CR&S presenta al 68° Salone Internazionale del Ciclo e del Motociclo la CR&S DUU, la moto tecno-custom fatta a mano, solo su misura, nelle versioni stradali "Deperlù" e "Conlatusa" (liberamente tradotto dal milanese "monoposto" e "biposto"). AJP MOTOS @ EICMA 2010 MILANO
AJP Motos participated at the 2010 EICMA trade show in Milan showcasing its most complete range of products ever. Featuring 4 distinct lines (Enduro & Supermoto), AJP introduced the new PR2 50cc ENDURO prototype and a PR4 200cc ENDURO limited edition to commemorate the 10 years of the model. Besides the new models, the stand also featured factory editions of the PR3 (Both Supermoto & Enduro) and the PR5 250cc Enduro. As an added attraction, visitors were treated to see the PR4 that took pilot Osvaldo Garcia from Portugal to South Africa during the world cup and a PR5 Enduro competition (the bike that participated in the Portuguese 500KM BAJA Portalegre only 2 days before the opening of the show).
